These two today. Two exceptionally useful pocket knives.

You know, that otter pin wouldn't look half bad as a shield on that otter.

Here's mine for today, Need to make a new scale for that skyline. The Camillus was actually my first knife, so I thought I'd put it through the ringer, see how it stands up.

Rocking these two fine folders today...

JH Lloyd and Gerber Paul Series II, Model 2, Both in Ivory

though it recieved its pattent in 1976, I feel the Paul is still a "modern" design, and to me is one of the most intriguing knives I have handled...

Wow, that Scout knife picture reminded me, I got my first 'knife scar' from that exact knife, learned really quickly why they are called slipjoints.
And I don't know why you want to make a new scale for the Skyline, I really like my BF Skyline scales, but they do look easy to replace.

haha I know what you mean, don't think there was anyone in my troop who doesn't have a scar from a knife like that.

As to the skyline it's because I was trying to drill and tap it for left hand carry but I botched the placement on one of the holes.

5 stitches in my left thumb from an Ulster BSA knife. I was 8 and didn't listen to what I was told. Like a hot stove. Lesson learned.

In any event... repetitious combo.

Got bit by my scout knife a few days ago. Thought the half stop wold stop the blade from closing on my thumb, silly me. Super strong snap on that one.

Over the years have carried slippies but then started with the one handers; bought a Case Trapperlock it became edc for a while but sparked re-interest in slipjoints ; at the moment I carrying a BM Grip and an old slipjoint that I don't know who made it; am rehabbing a old Ka bar slipjoint to carry along with one hander.
