Traditional and Modern pairings

Very sweet pairing Gary
Nice touch on the bolsters of the SBG ... those W.H.'s are a joy to handle aren't they

Duane, I'm a sucker for well done embellishments myself.
I do like the the WH offerings. They are a joy to carry and use.

Wow Gary those are stunning and that photo really shows them off!!

Thanks, Kevin. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile. ;)

I took this cell pic the other day. A real working knife paired with a complete impulse buy from a year or two ago. I always wanted a decent auto and as soon as I got a couple I realized they are not for me. I love playing with it though..

Kevin, this is the most jarring juxtaposition I have seen in this thread yet...interesting! The dead simple technology of a friction folder and the intricacies of an OTF auto, what a contrast.

Thanks Steve! That is how I felt when I held the two. Double action out the front next to the friction folder with only four parts. Very cool you picked up on that too! :)

Anybody wondering what Pinnah's got in his pockets? Go ahead. Go nuts. Whaddya think?

Different day, same carry.

Shocking!

Okay, not really, but when you hit on the perfect combo, why mess around with it?

These two are with me for a few days out of town with family (along with my Victorinox Climber).

I used to carry my Spyderco Military and an Opinel #8 Inox. I have since turned to the other side and have gotten rid of all of my modern production folders. Now I carry my Izula II and a Northwoods #25 Bullet Jack. Will upload pics later

Rocking the "Grandpa Special" today

BM111 (even those dive knives need to breath air sometime) and a Cloverbrand my grandfather used to have a small box of.

Rainy and inside the house today... Tuna Valley Swell Center Moose in the frontpocket and Spyderco PM2 in the backpocket...

... at least my knives are heavy-duty :D

Heavy duty indeed, and your Tuna Valley is looking good.
(Trying not to break the law by staying in your house with the PM2? ;))

Sturzi... you´re right - I don´t wanna get into trouble so just inhouse carry with the PM2 for me ;)

Not sure if this belongs here, but this Blind Horse seems more "modern" to me somehow.....
