This was back when they were both shiny and new, factory edges and all. Just managed to throw them both in my pocket today (almost always a one knife guy). Both have been sharpened many times and seen significant use since the photo. The Spyderco's edge being thinned out significantly, the Case being thinned a little and now with plenty o' patina.

The more I see the Centofante the more I think it's probably the most useful knife Spyderco have ever made. But then maybe that's because it almost looks like a normal knife....

Bringing this thread back up for air.
Today I'm carrying this Erickson SBG and a folding bowie made by Bailey Bradshaw. The Erickson is antique ivory micarta, 3 1/4". The Bradshaw is Mammoth Ivory, 3 7/8" with a Sawby self-lock.

Carried in a front pocket wallet. I'm using this wallet all the time now.

Here are two sporting my favorite cover material, Amber Stag. Brent Cramer's LCJ and a Linerlock City Knife by Kansei Matsuno. The Matsuno's blade is Devin Thomas Spirograph Stainless Damascus.

Thanks Derrick. That one was made for me by Brent Cramer. It's a 3.5" Lanny's Clip Jr. in CPM-154. It's about as close to perfection as I've seen and it's one of my favorites.

Spyderco Techno and Case Yellow CV Peanut today. I think they compliment each other rather well. Since the Techno's handle is so short, I can let the Peanut ride in the same pocket with it, and not worry about them rubbing together.

Sorry for the lousy picture. My skilz with the camera are awful and my preferred spot to shot is grown over currently...

This has been the summer of pocket ejects. Lost one Micra and very dear to me Buck 500. Then had a back up Micra jump out again and luckily found it.

Trying lanyards as a way of slowing them down. Also sticking to cheaper easier to replace knives. I'm pretty impressed with the Opinel's Sandvik Inox. Sort of like Buck's 420HC but, of course, with a much nicer grind (for my uses).

Also, every time I sharpen up the Micra, I take a bit more off the tip. Working towards a pseudo-wharncliff profile. Pointy tip is nice for whittling projects and better for going through plastic bubble wrap. The Micra is shown in the position I use it when using the knife blade. Creates a nice, good sized (albeit skinny) grip.

I consider a sak as a traditional knife
Although I am not a fan of the steel used for their blades, I work in an office environment and cannot wear a mult-tool.

I usually carry a sak on my work key ring and whatever modern folder I happen to be edc'ing that day

However I do go through periods where my edc knife will be one of my rancher or trapper folders
