I've also a Kersgaw Chill, but it never flips open 100% without a good hard flick of the wrist. How does yours do? I've oiled, adjusted pivots, etc. Still have give it a hard shake. Also have a Huntsman, but EDC a tinker. Any suggestions on the Chill?

It's a fine line of tightening the pivot screw as I'm sure you know. Mine works pretty good now but requires a little snap to open. Not bad though.
When I'm out walking the dog in the woods I carry a bigger SAK a lot. Most elsewhere it's a Sportsman, Bantam, Waiter, Rambler etc.

Ok, odd thing happened to me today and I'm wondering if anyone has ever heard of it before. I'm posting it here because it involves a modern folder.

So I've been carrying my Benchmade 707 Sequel in the back right pocket along with my small wallet. Today I reached into my back pocket to adjust my wallet I cut myself! I initially thought I may have did it on the pocket clip, but looking at the cut it was too thin and clean for that. I think what happened was that in putting downward pressure on the knife as I reached into my pocket it cause the axis lock to push back, thus forcing the blade out of the blade well, which meant my thumb went across the exposed blade while going into my pocket. I don't know what else could have happened.

Has anyone ever heard of this sort of thing happening?

These two today. I've had the Opinel for about 10 years, decided the other day to rough in some minor changes, still need to get a square of 600 or 1000 grit to smooth it out and take off the discolored olive wood left over.

The Ladybug is for non-food cutting, and there's not much reason not to carry it. Unnoticeable in the watch pocket, thin enough to stay out of the way when I reach for the Opinel. Keeps the Opinel clean and is easier to one-hand open obviously.
