Traditional folders and watches/timepieces

I have to admit, sometimes I try to match my watch of the day with a knife. Unfortunately I have a thing for HAQ and Japanese watches (wich can be hard to pair with a knife, and I kind of always carry a SAK). I do have a really nice Mcusta gentlemans folder with damast blade and cocobolo scales, but that´s not a traditional knife by definition. I will try to come up with a nice match for my next post :)

I have 4 watches but the Speedy hogs about 90% of my wrist time. I keep it on a strap in the winter but will put it back on the bracelet when it warms up. I went down the watch rabbit hole for a while and had more than 20 at one point. I sold almost everything after I finally realized what I really like. This one is about 3 years old now and it's starting to show some honest wear on the case which I'm cool with.

looking forward to seeing what else made the cut 🤓 I was never a huge fan of chronographs but the speedy is such a classic that I couldnt deny it a spot in the collection.

I was never really a chrono guy either before the Speedy, but there's just something about that watch. Divers were always my main interest and I have 2 remaining. This Planet Ocean and a Seiko Tuna that's out for repairs.

And I kept a Gshock around for beating on.

amen, and i fought against the speedy for so long. I bought my brother one for his 30th birthday as it was his grail watch and I had always had atleast one omega in my collection. I had sold the railmaster and was flip flopping on the newest railmaster. Deep down the speedy is always a better value to me. Actually Llst year ended up being the year of the manual wind for me as both pieces i added were manual wind.

The new Railmaster was one of the watches I moved along but it was a tough decision. I used those funds to help buy the PO if I remember correctly.

What were the 2 manual winds that you added?
