Traditional folders and watches/timepieces

While I may still use my half-off discount for a new Luminox at some point, for now I picked up this inexpensive Timex.

That’s a perfect knife to pair with that watch. And what a great heirloom for you to have. 👍
Thank you Sir! It is a treasured gift from my grandparents. One of my earliest memories was of my Great Uncle who lived to the age of 98. I was four and as I remember it was 1961. My mom told me that he was quite a character. They lived on a farm in rural Ohio and would go into town once a month and at the first traffic light David would get out of the car and disappear. Three or four days later the sheriff would call my grandmother to come and get him and that he’d sobered up. Happened ever month as my grandma would not allow spirits in her house.

I wasn’t aware of this thread. Nothing fancy here but did take a photo of my good old Wenger watch a couple months ago on a trip.

I have a Victorinox watch but hardly wear it. I might dig it out and take pictures. I’ve just had the Wenger so long ( probably about 18 years) it just feels right. Currently though it’s wearing a Seiko band. My metal band broke over the summer. Local jeweler had some miscellaneous bands so for $3 I took the Seiko.

Great knives and watch! Is that a BM 710 in the upper corner? Imho one of the best BM EDCs ever made.

love pocket watches!
Agree. They have "class" ... at least the vintage/antique and most recent production no battery required.
I'd love to find an 1800's key wind (with the correct key) in working order that I could afford. (TBH I believe the "that I can afford" eliminates all surviving examples from consideration. 🤨☹️)
