Traditional Knives EDC GAW

John, I’m in. I actually bought two of the Bigfoot SAK’s this year but they went to my daughters. They, and I, love to watch the various documentaries on Bigfoot, no matter how corny they are. I can even remember when Sasquatch was in the movie theaters, I think in the early 80’s. I’ll put a few photos in when I get home of my main carries, but as far as what’s in my pockets everyday at work, the only thing that really changes is the main knife.

Here’s the fire pit I just had made for my daughters house she bought, just like ours she needed a Bigfoot on hers.

ooh! Im in! I have lost more space pens than pocket knives!! A handy slip that holds a SAK, and the space pen!! Ooh LaLa!!

Im a bit of a pockets full guy.

Try not to judge me. Today's carry (minus some modern folders and firearm, etc..)

I also have to preface this by saying these are not all in my pockets. I have a work bag I carry to work.

When I'm out and about minus the work bag, this gets whittled down a bit.....

Thank you, John, I'm in. I have to split mine into two photos, as I spend so much time now at home (retired) in light, loose fitting pants or shorts, and so carry smaller, lighter knives. Here is a typical house combo.

When I go out, I carry larger, heavier knives. This has been a favorite combo recently.

Good luck to everyone!
Thanks for being first, Vince. :)
I like seeing your comb in your pile. My dad never went anywhere without his comb.:thumbsup:

Real pliers and a screwdriver... You are certainly prepared.:thumbsup:

Two flashlight. You afraid of the dark? :D
I really like your yellow SAK, very cheerful.:thumbsup:

I see lots of guys carrying lip balm, very useful.:thumbsup:

Cute dog! Your beautiful blue SAK matches your dog's collar.:thumbsup:

I have to know about the yellow item... Is it a pen or a tool?
I like your knife combo too, a solid user and something fancy.:thumbsup:

A carrier for a spare battery is something I really need to think about for myself.:thumbsup:

I appreciate you posting a picture and joining the fun.
That is a really good looking Scout knife.
I have a flashlight very similar to yours, I use it all the time.:thumbsup:

Wow! So many pretty knives!:thumbsup:

And that's just your gear for walking around the block. ;)
I like that you carry a field notebook. Handy for leaving messages for people.:thumbsup:

Looks like a handy pairing.:thumbsup:
I keep thinking I'd like to pocket carry a small fixed blade more often.

Your flashlight is so very way cool. A beautiful pairing with that gorgeous knife.:thumbsup:

You can do a lot with just a knife, a flashlight, and a lighter.:thumbsup:

Another nice looking Scout knife.:thumbsup:
And something with torx (cough cough)?

Ready for war!

I really like that pairing, something I'd find myself carrying a lot.:thumbsup:

I'm in.
I'm retired and like black mamba black mamba I have my at home carry; a SAK and a Traditional.
The models may change, but my at home carry is always a SAK and Traditional.

And a leaving the house carry.

Key chain with flashlight and Rambler. A Farmer and wallet (not shown)

These don't change, except a small fix blade may be included when heading for the woods.

Thanks John, cool GAW.

Thank you John. Lol :D I only carry one flashlight. The orange Titanlight is a lighter. Similar to a zippo, but it has o-rings and a cap to prevent the fuel from evaporating.

Okay, time to show my EDC stuff...

I don't carry much on my person, just knife, multi-tool, keys and wallet.

I'm a big fan of the Gerber Shard.

I'm also a big fan of the Victorinox Cadet.

Even though I don't like to carry much on me,
I have a pack that I put in my vehicle when I leave the house.

Because I spend a lot of time outdoors 4Wheeling and Fly Fishing, it's packed full of important stuff.
It has pens, notepads, lighters, fire starter, extra multi-tool (my Tinker), extra blade (a lockback for heavier chores), flashlights, water jugs, space blankets, first aid items, fishing gear, you know... the works. It's packed full of useful stuff and fits nicely in the center console of my Jeep.

Left pocket: keys, Micra, Bic
Right pocket: Three folders, channellocks
Wearing Dickies, the Anza fixed blade takes a tool pocket. With baggy slacks, it could go in the RFP.
THe Mora is in the frame by accident, but on the right day it could take the RFP. THere are a few other candidates for fixed blade of the day.
Please count me in.

I couldn't resist! I pretty much carry what my father carried, but he carried a smaller knife than I now do. The only thing not in the picture that I carry every day is my handkerchief. (My father carried one too, of course.)
John, you have me turning out my pockets! My wife just laughs, shakes her head, and walks away when I'm taking "knife pictures".

Could I please be in for Vince? Prester John Prester John

Thank you for the chance. Nice work on that pocket slip!
Thanks, Mike. Very kind of you.

I haven't been on in a bit, but I'd like to be in on this if I may... Top to bottom: Fenix e 12 (my newest addition, my maratac light quit back in September), Douk Douk, A.G Russell steel thumbnail ( just turned back up after being M.I.A for a bit in the kids toy bin), knipex 5 inch cobra pliers, victorinox small tinker, kellam wolverine that rides in my jacket pocket or horizontal on the belt. Awesome idea John. I really like that slip!:)
