Thanks for reviving this thread, Gary. I've been very absent this past year with so many life changes going on---after we moved to Idaho we have since moved back to the Southeast (south Alabama, only an hour from where we lived in Florida) after six months in Texas with my in-laws. I lost my dad in October (he was 75 and although his decline was swift, I got to spend some time with him before he died) and my wife is due in March with our sixth child--almost 9 years since our last! All-in-all 2023-2024 has been a HAUL. I'm hoping for a little more peace and quiet in 2025.

Thanks for the update, Joshua!:thumbsup:

When I searched for this thread recently, I saw a photo of you and your wife in Idaho and thought to myself, "I don't even remember Joshua moving to Idaho, and I can't remember the last time I saw a post from him."
I'll hope with you that you have more "beside still waters" and "lying down in green pastures" times in 2025 compared to what the past couple of years for you sound like!

Condolences about losing your dad, and congrats on the impending addition to the family! (I guess a newborn in the house is not gonna let you get much extra sleep for 2025. ;))

Thanks, Gary! I don’t get much sleep anyway, so might as well enjoy it with a little one!

Thank you. I’m in Daphne, just east over the i10 bridge from Mobile.

You look too young and care-free for a man whose raised 5 kids Joshua! :D Sorry to hear about your dad buddy
Wow David, you ARE a cowboy!

Nice. I grew up across the state line south of Atmore.
I know where that is, and when I was working at a school in Pensacola we played soccer against a school in Atmore.

Thanks, Jack! I guess in my case raising children has made their youth rub off on me a bit. You look well in your recent photo, and I hope that has been the case in 2024 and will be in 2025.

Good to see you posting Joshua, really sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad :( I'm real glad that you got to spend time with him.

Like Jack said, looking very youthful there, the grey hair comes in at places and looks great, then a couple of years later that grey has spread - then all you need is to put on some glasses to read- Bang- instant old fella! 🤣 I know 🧓.
