If this is acceptable, how about a fall colored knife (orange, yellow, or red) carving your Thanksgiving turkey.
Absolutely acceptable and you even got Escanaba / Gladstone in there home of Bark River Knives and Marble's :) The town of Bark River is just to the left of your knife but their shop is in Escanaba

Edit: or the equivalent if you don't live in the U.S.
Well done, PaulS. PaulS. !:cool::thumbsup: I was NOT expecting a yellow Buck 301! Right above the tip of the blade in your pic is Cedarville, MI, where I've spent many enjoyable days of annual vacation over the past 25+ years, and the Le Cheneaux Islands, among which I used to happily kayak for hours (until my back prevented me from enjoying much more than 30 minutes of kayaking at a time).

It's sort of a funny story. I wanted a 302 in yellow delrin and saw this knife on the secondary market for a reasonable price. I bought it thinking it was a 302, then noticed it was a 301. Apparently it was a build out knife from the 301 pattern to test the feasibility of a single blade, which then became the 302. If my research is correct, Buck only made 49 single blade 301s in yellow. Instead of a user, I bought a closet queen that just comes out for special events! :D

How about a brown (that's the only fall color left around here at this point) knife while cooking the Thanksgiving turkey? :D

I'd have sent a shout-out to Barrett and his vintage Checker cab, but he posed the challenge!

Thanks, GT, but Checker wouldn’t fit the criteria, anyways. It’s only 42 years old. :D

This bar's been set high:D

A car made before 1958 plus a 12 mont old or less Traditional is going to take some doing, If it's a real car that is...;)

I know a man who has literally dozens of old cars, many from the time era ;) But I'm out of town and his place is like a vault

If I were setting a hard question, I'd say a Coffin Jack with an actual coffin :D:D:Do_O

I’m sure someone will be able to pull it off. :D

Wow, I didn't know they were still making Checkers that recently! Yours is still a babe-in-the-woods.:D

How about this? The knife is from the 2018 run.
Ken, do you know anything about the diner pictured here? Is it real? If so, where is (was) it? What year is it supposed to be? I'm curious, because there's a Rosie's Diner a few miles north of where I live that looks a lot like this one, and I think it may have been trucked in from some other location many years ago. Thanks.
