Thanks, Ken; that's exactly the diner I was thinking of. No wonder it looked familiar!Gary, I didn’t take the picture but it is a black and white of the real Rosie’s Diner near Rockford, Michigan. Is that near you?
Real, early Buick, belongs to my neighbor!!

I think people need to be more specific with their requests otherwise it is open to interpretation and creativity. Hence my request for "REAL" taxidermy.Has this turned into posing the actual knife on top of a printed picture of the object? That' going to make this too easy unless we start calling for very rare knives.
I agree, one picture with the prop and the knife.I also think the knife and the object (or whatever) should be in the SAME photo![]()

I did search through my wife's stack of animal magazines for a half hour to find that advertisement with the bulldog on the back cover LoLI agree, one picture with the prop and the knife.
The prop doesn't have to be exactly what was asked for either, I like the way we can use our imagination and creativity. When I asked for a "Stag Party", I would have accepted a bunch of stag items, a bar scene, a couple of stuffed animal reindeer, etc. I just think doing a Google search, printing out a picture of the item, and then taking a photo of the knife on top of the picture is too easy and not in the spirit of the game.
Sorry Will... Hoping for a knife like this and some "wall mount" taxidermyHad a really nice whole smoked fish in the fridge, but somehow it got dismembered and devoured a short while agoBut, I've no vintage fish-knife of any manner
Come on let's see some fish gleaming away with appropriate knives
In the meantime to keeps things moving I found a pic in my archive of Two Baltic Whitefish, my Japanese prep knife and the Ebony 92 Talon helping out in the prep. The knives were not baked though, not quite that forgetful-yet
