Here's my Rosie, she is 10 yrs old and sweetheart of a dog who loves people and other dogs. She's epileptic and has seizures every once in a while but hasn't let that slow her down.

She just recently tore her ACL and that has slowed her down but I've got this harness fior her so I can help her up the stairs and she's getting a bit better everyday.

I took a few shots just now- please forgive the looks as though I just got out of bed- because I have lol, at home for a couple of Months- Convalescence, at least now I can get on the floor an Cuddle her- I couldnt for a couple of weeks and missed that so much, felt so bad too - here is wee Izzy - although its getting through Spring - yesterday and today = a bit cold so I have the Heater on for Izz so it's there when she wants it.
Two Scruffs, Human looks a lot worse for wear

Wizzles ( a mixture of wee & Izzy ) HATES her photo being taken- as soon as she see's the Phone being held towards her she looks away :) - she is such a Madam I tell you!
Please excuse the graphic nature of Hedgehogs Brains spilling out - these days she still loves to bite them up- but they all still have their Squeaky pads in them- a few years ago- they were trashed inside 5 minutes- just destroyed - and you are left shaking your head thinking- wow- that toy just cost me $22 lol

Izzys Bedroom we call it- My daughters laugh because - as they have left home- the spare room is now Izzy's "Oh - sorry dad- Izzy's room..." they say - they cant get enough of her either- twenty million photos with their phones, hugs and kisses full time for Izzy when they are here- she just continuously Barks demanding more welcome Bikkies.
Her Bed I "nest" for her every Morning with her three Pillows and pull the Blankets and duvet around so it forms like a Bear Pit.
Please forgive the untidy state of Izzy's Daytime Bedroom...

Coco the rabbit AKA Coco Loco AKA Dr. Pooper is not in the mood for a photo-op right now. I barely managed to get these shots of him on his favorite blanket. He is 9 years old and we have had him for 5 years. He has the run of of the house, but only stays in one room because he doesn’t like the wood floors. When I whittle there he flops over by my feet, something rabbits apparently only do when they are very happy and relaxed. Rabbits can’t just roll over on their sides - they have to do this weird “flop” thing and Coco at least looks dead afterwards (go to youtube and search for “bunny flop”). I had rabbits as a kid but they lived much shorter lives, and outdoors. I had no idea they could live so long and had so much personality.

I love that she has her own room and real bed ! :)

This is Suzie, we think she's around fifteen now? When they found her she was wandering the streets in January when the temp was -20c she had frozen feet and totally unkept also missing half her teeth. When we adopted her the Vet estimated that she was around two. She is very quiet and has been like having one of our kids back living with us. This past year she seems to get disoriented at times and wanders around the house and then just stops and stares into space, poor little girl.

Always good to see Suzie, Dave.

And....it's really neat that Suzie knows- even if its most of the time, that she is warm safe and loved - and thats a gift that you gave her- which is amazing:)
We did the same for Izzy- she turned up on our Doorstep just as Sue and I were sharing a tear over our little wee boy Murphy as we were looking at his photographs ( He was a resue wee boy as well ) we had to say the saddest goodbye to our wee boy when he was only 2 & 1/2 with a massive Tumor behind his eye :( , well so we switched off the computer and heard a dog whining so softly- we both looked at each other- and heard it again, went to the back door and here she was- with a bit of snapped off rope around her neck- her face was moving all by itself with SO MANY FLEAS- she was totally beside herself and didn't know what to do, her Bones were near poking through her skin and she had Mange.

I instantly picked her up- put her in the Bathroom washbasin- she would have been 10 weeks old? possibly 12? got Murphy's Flea comb and Flea wash out and washed this poor wee thing Twice, this wee puppy had over 100 Fleas on her- we actually had to stop counting there were so many.
I tell you what- if someone had come to try and claim her? I would have buried the guy in the back yard- I wanted to find him - how someone can do this brings out another side .....
It took a few weeks to get her right.
Anyway - she has never really got 100% over this- she still fights me when I slowly push her on her side to give her tummy rubs- her body tension fights... but I keep telling her how much I love her and then you feel her relax ( a little ) then she lies down - she cant be left outside on her own - she doesnt feel secure, so theres a lot of Imprinting that went on from those terrible distressing first months in her life, but shes been treated like a Queen ever since- and boy does she behave like it lol.
I Love her!
Dog Knife Content, a knife that Paul Hilborn- another Great guy who just LOVES his beautiful Dogs to bits - we both share a knife like this- I think Paul's may be Jigged Bone, but Paul and our Mate Luke in ND made this awesome wee Lanyard for this Knife- I love the Combo, I had two of these Knives- just recently sold the spare the other day - but will keep this knife for a lifetime - with its Lanyard, it has an Antler Tip. Great stuff!

I used to keep pet Rabbits until 2013 when Jocky a Chinchilla coated one died at 9, had a couple before that, Musta made it to over 10! They are very interesting house pets and friendly, coming to the door to greet people or visitors. They also do this 'rallying' thing when they run round you in a circle or figure of 8. Then there's the stamping as a warning signal. There are some downsides....chewing stuff, electric cables:eek: and they never get completely house trained :D but it's not like a cat or dog unloading ;) Being a communal animal by nature they do bond with their keepers and show a lot of interest and affection, very worthwhile owning them:cool:

Thanks my friend- I am getting better every day :) Quite literally, I did a walk today that nearly put me backwards a week and a half ago - today I aced it - so the Heart must be healing real good now!

Hey Dan -Oh man to have a Chipmunk ( it is a Chipmunk isnt it - kinda looks like one to this dumb Kiwi ) come and eat from my hand would be so so awesome - what a stunning wee thing- I took about a million photos of them when Sue and I were touring the Rocky Mountains in Canada - they came so so close- but not like that - just Wow! And that lovely red Squirrel - just Beautiful!
I was walking with Charlie and Joanne in Vancouver I think it was in the Museum Carpark and I saw my first ever wild squirrel - it was a bigger black one - Charlie and Joanne must have been shaking their Heads as I am getting all excited taking photos!

Unfortunately the lifestyle my wife and I lead in London would not be too easy on keeping a dog, much as I'd like to - having been brought up in Kenya with an Alsation, I'd jump at the chance to move to the countryside and have a dog...

Instead a couple of darn smart cats, keep us on our toes well enough. These two Abyssinian boys are just coming up to 15yrs old. They're not related at all, the Sorrel (paler) one has half his family from pedigree Abyssinian stock from USA, the Usual coloured one from a long pedigree line here in UK.
