Trio Thursday

Hey prom. It is a native. It's the 2013 Spyderco Forum knife. The Moonglow native is cool. That's the one from EDCF right? That would make a good camping knife.

You got it right......Native EDC Forum in CPM S35VN.

My wife carries a Native in her purse as well, although she is warming up to an EDC II that I picked up for her recently. She already has tried to lay claim to a tuxedo Asp in my collection and is making moves on a Nessmuk that I picked up from one of the dealers last week. Her dream however is a Hiking Buddy in maroon micarta. Happy wife....happy life !

Thanks Thurin.....I'm getting a case of the Shadetree Shivers. Those blades look like they were made from the same Elfin Forge.....on second thought, I guess they were !

Humble is good. :)

Thanks man, its cocobolo, i put some mineral oil on it and it really made it look rich. It's stunning.

Martin,

That is a great family of knives that you have there. Very practical range of sizes. The wood on your Hiking Buddy is very striking. I like the variety of colors in your bonafide sheaths too. He makes very nice stuff.

Thanks for sharing the photos.

Phil

thurin,

As a fellow Shadetree aficionado, you know that I love this photo of your amazing ShadeTrio. The colors are really crisp against that background. All three really pop with brightness that makes the spalting really stand out.

Great set and great photo. Thanks for sharing!

Time for some trio bumpage. I probably won't be around on Thursday, sorry, this is early.

Trio from the Missouri trip last week. Really I'm just wanting to show off the KB44 axe I won. But the KE Bushie did get used a lot, along with my saw, and the GEC was in my pocket.

Thanks Josh. I'm hoping I can put it to use soon. It's an old Swedish military axe that's been cleaned up and rehung by the guy that made the mask for it.

Here's the trio that actually saw most of the work while bumming around in the woods. The saw is great (and cheap). Leatherman is always handy. And gotta have a Fiddleback.
