Trophy Room - Hunting and Fishing Pics

Oh man, you're killing me! Enjoy (I know you will :D ) !!

Haha hang in there man! I know waiting for hunting season is worse than waiting for a new knife or gun! My cousin killed a huge Idaho muley last week. It was 37 inches wide. I thought about you when he sent me the pic. I would like to post a pic here but I would have to ask him first. It's a monster!!!

That is awesome!! Crop him out if you can, I'd love to see it! Did he draw an early tag?

I'm out of town this weekend and am going to miss the opener. The stress really is taking years off my life :) Oh well, I'll have to make up for lost time when I get back :D

This would be me hunting.

Haha! One of these days I'll pick up a nice traditional bow. I've always been pretty fascinated with them but never pulled the trigger on one.

I have a Bear Montana longbow. For a couole hundred bucks its pretty sweet. I am going to kill a deer with it this year.

I have an old recurve bow that's been handed down. Not sure of the company. But I'm not good enough free shooting. So I'll be using my dads compound bow this year.

Got some wild Uni from Fort Bragg this last week. Amazing. Opening these up only takes seconds with the GSO 10.

Went on a three day trip to the river.

It was a little warm but nice.

The water was nice.

My buddy out in the middle of the river. We walked out on the rocks to reach the deeper pools.

Caught this one first day. It was the only one I got all weekend. I'm not sure what it is, never seen one before.

Camp.

Gave my buddy his choice of my two neckers. He loved it.

The water falls were magnificent. Well worth the 9 mile hike.

Found this sign off the beaten path. It was a ways off the trail but a nice scenic overlook. This was the original sign marking the site of the park when it was first being constructed.

Man I hope you two had a great time in that heat! At least the scenery is amazing there!

It was an excellent trip. The only disappointment was we were primitive hiking and when we got to the camp there was houses across the river, with street lights and such. We wanted some peace and quite away from stuff like that. But it was still nice. We hiked about 18-19 miles in the 2.5 days. My big ass is hurting today. Lol.

Those are great pictures. I don't know what that fish is either. Looks like a huge smallie toward the tail, but obviously the head end shows it's not. Good big fish though, did you eat it?
