Trophy Room - Hunting and Fishing Pics

Noted and edited, lol. I need to get better on my identification. Was a good looking fish though. I'm hoping the river goes down so I can hit it this weekend. Right now its way out of the banks here from all the rain.

Man it's been so dry here, it's just ridiculous. That is absolutely a good looking fish. One thing I've really enjoyed about this thread is seeing fish from all around the country. I just happened to be real familiar with that one. I should be, I've cleaned enough of 'em, lol. :)

I was down at the beach a couple weeks ago with some buddy's. I started to fish for bait for the big rods and started catching bull croaker. I couldn't just stop. They're one of the best eating fish in the gulf imo. So to hell with the big rods. Had a nice little fish fry that evening!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1446136882.882081.jpg

Nice salmon pics fellas. This October was my first trip up for the salmon run in New York and I only got one and didn't even snag a pic.
BIG learning experience especially with all the rules up there for fishing certain areas. Already looking forward to next year
will be better prepared.

Dont post over this way often, but there are some awesome pics in this thread! I have been taking my 4.1 with me a lot to the woods this year with a piggyback necker as well. I have let a few doe and a 4 point walk so far. It has been really muggy the last week and a half but a cool front is supposed to be coming in this weekend so I am hoping they will be moving better. Here are a few pics from my stand this past weekend in the morning. The 7 point I took earlier on in the season decided he didnt want to stay down when he dropped and ended up running a little over 60 yards into the woods before expiring.

Wow, I'll bet that sunrise was even better than the pictures! Beautiful stand, and nice buck, man.

You need to fix this :)

Great pics! I love living vicariously through forum members!

Haha thanks, I will try to remedy that!

Thanks! The sunrise was awesome. It was cool that morning, about 63 or so with a good breeze blowing just right. Rut is in and there is a cool front coming this weekend with some rain. I havent been able to hunt at all this week but I will definitely be out there again this weekend. This is my favorite time of year!

Mine too :) Do you guys get multiple tags there? We pretty much just get one per species, although a guy can buy a leftover nonresident tag (at nonresident price :barf: ) if he wants out here.

We get 10 doe and 2 buck with one of the bucks having to be 2 points per side minimum.

They are acting really strange this year though. Usually we see quite a few does throughout the year but so far I only have pics of 3 that are mature, with what appears to be about 4 total yearlings. Two of those for sure are little bucks because I have pics of the knots. What is crazy is I have pictures of a total of 11 other bucks, not including the one I harvested, three of which are good size, the two largest being a wide 8 and a tall/wide 10, with a few pics of a good 6. The bad part about all the pics is they are at night. Hopefully with rut being in though it will draw some of them out.

Best pic I have of the 10, with hopes that I can post some more up close pics within the next week or so! :D:D:thumbup::thumbup:

I use my 3.5 as my game processor. Works great for breasting ducks. I'm sure its the perfect size for dressing out deer.
