Trophy Room - Hunting and Fishing Pics

It sure is! Im frying some of it right now. To be clear that is my dad's and my 5 fish limit both on the stringer.
 
Woke up at 0330. At the stream at 0445. first cast at 0530. First fish at 0532. Limited out at 0715. Back at home (after a stop for coffee and some groceries) and eating some fried trout by 1230!

Fishing with your dad. Sounds like a perfect day. Did you bring your boy?
 
No. He would be a monster if I got him up at 330 to go fishing. I may try to take him this week in the afternoon though
 
God dang! Awesome fish! Where did you catch that bad boy? Vermont? Probably was a fun fight kn a fly rod!

I know! Caught it in Vermont in a small pond on a #4 weight, I thought I hooked into a damn bear. Took about 25 min to get it into the canoe, just would not give up. I was sure I was going to snap the tippet. Unfortunately trout season doesn't start until next weekend so I had to throw it back. I was fishing for perch and landed 4 other brooks besides that monster. Caught a bunch of large perch for dinner though so it wasn't a total loss. This one was ready to pop. Perch roe is actually pretty good...

I have lived quite a few places in my time and I have to say the fishing in Vermont really is outstanding.
