Trophy Room - Hunting and Fishing Pics

This is from last summer, I think (hope) I only posted these in the pic thread, and not here in the trophy room. Time to make some new memories though :)

Very nice! The wild brookies here are nice and dark like those in your picture. We call them black backs.

Heres a quick clip I took one Saturday morning before we processed some feral hogs.

I caught this one in a figure 6 trap in someones backyard.

Got this guy on the same yard.

Being unfamiliar with them, I'm surprised at how aggressive they are. If that were a coyote he'd be on the other end of the pen :)

Also I had to laugh because when I'm doing a trap set, everything is as hidden and blended in as possible, I wasn't expecting the cage, ha!

They really want to fight if they cant flee. Ive got some different types of traps. I usually cut down a bunch of stuff and put it around and in the trap.
But they will go in a fence way before they will walk into my traps that have wooden guillotine doors.

Thanks guys, it was a good tag. The system is just a simple draw, every year you don't get a tag you earn a bonus point. The are also lots of let over tags you can buy and over the counter archery tags. You can put in for elk deer antelope bear turkey and Javalina.

They said not to bother bringing a knife with(as if!) because they do all the processing. I brought a couple smaller knives with. If I had a S!K at that time I doubt I would bring it. I would worry about it being stolen from the bag handlers.
