I'd say the collector groups may overlap a bit, but really the new Tuna Valley knives are a higher level knife. Even the wood handle ones are over $200, and stag and ivory are higher yet. I think people are realizing the quality of them, because the last few releases did sell out in under 2 weeks. With limited runs of 50 pieces each release, they may get harder to buy if the popularity keeps growing. That's right, the Tuna Valley claim is that a combo of pattern/handle/blade will only ever be made and released one time, so never any duplicates.really nice. I may be asking for trouble, but do you think because those are limited runs and exclusive materials that they give Eastern Cutlery a challege? Or different markets? I imagine Tuna would be more a select market than GEC, as I read that Tuna does not use the same combination materials and patterns again for future knives.
That a beautiful collection. I especially like the “Time Keeper.”Here is a nice group shot I took of the 2016 teardrop pattern. I'll have this group, along with some of my other Tuna Valley knives on display at the Massillon, Ohio knife show this coming weekend (May 14-15, 2022). If you are at the show be sure to stop by and say hello!

Great looking barlow!I have been coon fingering this one for a few days. I was curious about this brand. I liked the buffalo horn covers and the 3 3/4 inch size. It needed sharpening and I enjoyed doing that. I am glad I bought it. Very nice. Here’s a picture.
