  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Tweenahs - New Pictures, specs...

I will have to see it. Im not a fan of the crinkle on the Scrapyard knife I have.

koyote zytel scales sounds good to me - and I have no significant care one way or the other about texture on the coating - since the stuff ESEE uses doesn't seem to impair function any, I can't see this as being anything different.

I dunno, I'll have to hold and use one to see if I like the changes. I for one am glad I got my 11 and 7 before the change. Well, this gives me another excuse to get a tweenah. The girlfriend is still gonna hate on me though.

Captain Airyka: Shield Maiden Extraordinaire!

Haha, sorry, couldn't resist:

Is there any word on fluctuation of price to reflect differences in style?

If there is a price difference (which I don't think there will be), the mini Mag Camp will be the most expensive of the three. It has more machining.

Ok. Thanks Moose. How 'bout with the rest of the line-up?

No pricing has been verified by Kabar yet. We are GUESSING are at the price being around that of a BK2 or maybe a little more.

Being somewhat of a noob, how does zytel compare to grivory? Also, its nice to hear about all of the changes, but I guess I was thinking the price of the blades would be a bit lower (was hoping it would be priced like it was sized, or between the BK2 and the BK14).

If there is a beckerhead deal, I personally would prefer to have it done by the blade, because even if there is a deal no these all together, I won't be able to afford it (not unless I got them at cost or something somehow).

Anyway, its nice to see some of the info starting to come out. We only have what, 2-3 more weeks before they're out?

"A rose by any other name, stills smells as sweet"

Grivory, zytel, its all the same. Fiberglass reinforced nylon.

Cool, thats what I was thinking, just wasn't sure.

And yea, I guess they won't be available until march, but we get to find everything else out about them in a few weeks :).

I would like to see some color choices in the future, OD, Coyote Brown, and Grey all come to mind first. I would also like to see some different colored grivory too, which will not be grivory anymore, it will now be zytel, for those that haven't been paying attention. :D

Moose

Paisley would be groovy.
