Big thumbs up, sir!

On a sidenote: tried to watch 2001: a space oddysey again last week. Nope, still sucks. 20 minute long scenes of cardboard space planes ad nausaum, 15 minute sunrise... no thanks. The music is good, but I don't have to watch a movie for that. I can listen to it in my car. Damn that film frustrates the sh*t out of me.

The answer to your problem is drugs. You need some drugs to watch that movie. My suggestions, weed, acid, or shrooms

Well, the house hunting continues. We had put an offer on a place with the condition that the house would pass a home inspection. We knew the house was not perfect, but we were willing to deal with some of the issues because the property also had a 32' x 18' garage that we were going to turn into a climbing training facility. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the house inspection turned up some massive issues that would cost a fortune to repair. Not good. We pulled our offer last night and got drunk. Dodged a bullet, but we will miss that garage - it was the only part of the property that passed the home inspection! lol

That sucks, but is also a blessing. good luck with the search! Next time you head out that way to look at a place, give me a call on the way home ;) stop in and say 'Hi'.

That sucks Gus, but consider yourself lucky your not on the hook for those repairs.....

Speaking of garages, operation sliding barn doors on my shop addition was a success today.

That's awesome, Todd!

looks Great Todd!

tomorrow is not going to be fun, have to be at School at 7:30 to take the ACT :(

Good luck!!

When I was in school, I got a word of advice on how to take the ACT from a stoner. He said get drunk the night before, and ride your bike to school while smoking a j. Dude got a 29 or 30.:D

Ha! seems like great advice :D

good job Todd!
now all you need is some nice polyurethane enhanced "1-coat weatherbeater" paint and you'll be good to go!
Hopefully Ralph can get it wired tomorrow. :)

What an abysmal game tonight! That just sucked to watch! I think Crawford needs to stop taking Cutler's phone calls!

So, I don't know if when I get my next mileage check I want to put a deposit down on a Randall Made Knife or not. It won't be delivered till..... Sometime mid 2019... The one I want is only $400, so if I do $100 a year then it really isn't that bad of a hit!

But then I'd also LOVE to get a Chris Reeve knife, which WOULD be a major hit... :( Decisions, decisions.

Up all night with my little dog buddy sick and needing out every 30 minutes. He seems a bit better during the morning/day, but this is the third night in a row he's gotten me up a few times.

Gus, that houses hunting sounds like a nightmare. Good thing to do it right though and not buy something that needs $$$$$$ repairs.
Todd, that addition is looking awesome! Can't wait to see it all up and running.
Cbear, are you going to the gathering? I could bring a Randall for you to screw around with if that would help the decision making process.

First world problems! ;)

Hope he's doing better. Do you think he needs a trip to the vet? Is he getting dehydrated?

Agreed. Better to get it right (or as right as possible) rather than get stuck with a money pit.

And I vote that you bring the Randall.

Anyone of the beckerheads here have any preferences with regards to the Kabar Dozier folding hunter?
I had a plain edge, black handled one without coating (4062 if I'm not mistaken) and I can't find it anywhere. First blade I lost, also my most carried folder lately... Hence, I'm looking for a replacement.
I do like the looks of some of the black coated ones (coyote, foliage green,...) but I don't really care for coating that chips off easily. Any experience on that? Or should I just go with the same one without coating?

@Gus, Thanks, he's doing a bit better but he's still not feeling good. Not sure if he needs to go to the vet or not, but we're gonna get some wormer today to see if that helps. He's been drinking a good bit, but mostly after he throws up.

G-shark -- I prefer the no-coating models and they're available on the river store for just over $20 USD, but 2 at that price and get free shipping.
Or international flat rate shipping from my house to yours is $24, international first class postage is $12
if you need help getting 1 or 2 of them to you from here, send me a PM or email.
