I got boobies, do I count? Although, I'm not pretty, OR a lady... BUT, I got boobies!

No, you don't have "boobies". It just doesn't work that way, son.

Sloppy moobs most definitely do NOT count. Keep your shirt on, FFS. :thumbdn:  :grumpy:

well, i've become that guy

where someone does something stupid / horrible, and they call me to fix it

in this case, helping them unfrak a tree...

guess it's handy i have the right tools to mostly do it safely...

nobody died. trees kills. today zero.

though i'm back on my plan to buy more, and more equipment to upgrade.

i may never be a pro, but i really don't wanna be a dead amateur...

mmm alcomahal and moobs. There is only one situation where that is acceptable; When spooning in stupid cold temperatures trying not to freeze to death.

Other then that... if you want a party, just stick your junk in the mashed potatoes.

Here's my thought... should you ever find yourself field-dressing a game bird/animal at dusk, and your knife slips from your hand among the muck and goo, a lanyard will make it a LOT easier to retrieve the knife without accidentally grabbing the sharp blade and cutting the heck out of yourself.

Which in turn will require leaving the game animal, getting medical attention, then going back to the game animal with a basically useless, stitched and heavily-bandaged hand, only to find that coyotes already nommed the choice cuts, ruined the hide, and spilled various horrible crap you don't want all over whatever's left, while you were busy getting stitched up because you're too dumb to not cut yourself.

I've not done that myself, but I've seen the results when others did it, and it wasn't pretty. They were all reaallly pissed-off about not just having a thong/lanyard/loop to hang onto, and pull simply it back without slicing their favorite biscuit-grabber open by mucking around in a pile of guts for a lost, sharp knife...

Lanyards? Yes.

Who needs fingers to skin an animal? :D

Sounds like a better idea now, though. :D

Damn, Todd....those are some really nice rocks. You should get a better picture of them without those knives in the way.

Mmm..

What handle materials one those?

I don't know. I think I like the second one you did better.

In on one!

In on 2 like the cool kids do?

mmm those blades look a little longer on those Yuma's. I like it

Damn, those are beautiful Todd.

outstanding selection of minerals there. got some chert going? conglomerates. bit of quartz and limestone?

contrasts knicely with those sweet knives :D

Hope you feel better.

Todd those are great.

In on two.

Woooow.... Good stuff TM!

Thanks guys, very much, I do love these combos very much, actually both of these original knives I made for myself, but they ended up finding new homes. These 5 knives with exception of the Magua where all replicas of earlier ones.

In on 2!
Todd that is some GREAT lookin' craftsmanship! You bring something that looks like that to Blade and I'll be going home with some more T.M.Hunt GREATNESS!!! :D

Bring your wallet buddy, im gonna have a lot nicer stuff than I've had the last two years I believe. I hook you up with the Beckerhead discount.

Anybody here a fan of the Discovery channel's show Naked and afraid? If so, or if you just want to see a T.M.Hunt M-18 in action, be sure to tune in on Sunday May 17th. One of the contestants will be carrying one (and nothing else) for 21 days. I not at liberty to speak much about the details, but it ought to be a interesting show!

That's awesome Todd! I like the premise of that show, but I wouldn't want to be naked if i went. Bug bites all over....mmm no thanks.

This one was a exact replica of the very first Yuma I ever made.
Hmmm.... Naughty thoughts a brewing. Just with some natural phenolic and some blue, black or blue & black G10 tossed around here and there.

So, this condition likely won't be ending for my 15 year old any time soon?

Actually you yourself will get dumber by the minute, until you are barely able to function. In fact, it will take every brain cell you have working overtime to keep breathing, much less talk... I don't know how I'm even typing this. That lasts until he's about 25 and then you will start to get smarter, with you reaching his perception of your capacity, near the time he hits 30. After that, he will begin realizing that it was him all along, and you start gaining back the awesome intellect you had when he was 9.

Doc

Hmm.

I was just thinking, maybe a cool lanyard bead would be a Lego Boba Fett helmet with a hole driller in the top for the cord to go through...

Erik, (1066Vik) just called me. He's about a half hour out...... for those of you that doesn't know whats going on. Iem getting ready to build a grinding room on to my shop. There will be a thread in my subforum. As far as tonight, I gonna take him out and feed him some local bar room grub with cheap beer as a chasher. :-).

Have fun, Todd. Sounds like you guys are in for a long and productive weekend. I'm looking forward to the pics.

That's awesome about having one of your knives on t.v. I will be tuning in for sure.
