It has left Canada and went through Chicago a few days ago. Hopefully it is on a plane to Norway or passing through customs here soon. Leaving for the mountains on Saturday and was hoping to bring it along..

Thanks Mist, when I first got it, I did some basic simulated media penetration testing with both knives here and my shank (just for curiosity's sake). The results against ballistic gelatin with and without denim were impressive. Note I was testing ammo while doing this and figured what the heck.. Although I had no empirical form of measurement the scorpion and the shank were both able to penetrate with almost no force through both bare gelatin and denim. The shank really excelled in slicing in both p'kal grip and saber grip despite its lack of belly. When the weather clears and my arm heals I'll look to do this again and Be sure to get some video footage as well as come up with some sort if objective measurements for penetration effectiveness .

And yes, the scorpion (and all of Andy's dagger grinds for that matter) are pretty!

Too late for Tuesday, but my Hunter arrived today:thumbup: :D Canada post sent it express so it got here sooner than I'd dared hope for.

Fat handles on both 3/16" O1 Hunter and 5/32" S35VN Bushfinger


Gave it a quick touch up and it will pop hair above the skin. Thanks Duder

Great looking pair. Glad it got there quick so it can head to the mountains with you! Looking forward to seeing it in action.
 
Still haven't had time to do a proper comparison, so for now this two-fer of the Big Paw and Kephart will have to do.

Pointy bushcrafty blades with black handles and green pinstripe.

Sweet! That Big Paw is the same as my Woodsman but with G10 instead of blackwood. I really like that tuxedo with a twist!

I like the twist as well.
