Yeah, scandi Bushraptor. Wish the picture wouldn't have been cropped so much by Instagram.

My wife laughs at how much I stare at that knife :D Both of them, really.
 
A little late, but I went from never owning a terrasaur, to owning two ?!?! :eek: while it might just be temporary, its a pretty phenomenal profile that I am really looking forward to using!!

Yeah it's a bit of a mystery; its granier than other ABW I have but is definetly not wenge (pics are deceiving) after talking to Ken, they have some EI rosewood in the shop, so it might be that. Either way, its HEAVY, dense stuff, and mostly jet black when oiled.
 
I recant; owning dupes might not be temporary -- its a rad profile; I might "need" both at the expense of some nice knives on the flea market shortly!

After seeing today's knives, I'm thinking you're right and that this is Rosewood. I really wish I could have scored the Nessie today.
