Two For Tuesday

Rob, that's a great looking set. Congrats!

Bud, nice score on that cornflower HB! Looks great next to the matching Runt

Two Blue Pairs for Two for Tuesday.

Great sets!!! I especially like the slate runt!

All of the t for t sets are out of this world....

Two things every man should have Bibles and Knives ;)

Every pair posted today looks fantastic. They show a nice cross section of the models and handle configurations Andy has made. I would be proud to own any of them, but I have to say that Rob's old school bolstered brothers take the prize for me today. Do you know the FF vintage of those?

Thanks everyone for the photos today.

Won't be able to do it on Tuesday, so here's a shot of the Blackwood Brothers. Patch and Recluse.

Outstanding pair Nathan; both are spectacular

Thanks Will! I'm fortunate to be able to score them. Of course Andy and crew get all the credit. :)

Nathan, that's a really classy set. Love the grind on each of those!

When I saw the Recluse and realized the grind, spalting, Tuxedo, SFT was the same as my Patch, I just had to grab it. Getting a pair that's that close in grind and such is rare.

That is a great looking duo Peter. That Shadetree burlap looks like nice stuff. I am going to have to check into getting some knives with that for myself. ;)

A couple of Runt's.

Amazing pair of Runts! Beautiful color in the wood on each of them. It is nice to see a scandi for a change.

I received my Monarch last week. I like the size a lot. It is compact but very solid feeling due to the height of the blade & handle. If I could change one thing on it, I would prefer a continuous curve on the top of the butt instead of the large chamfer. It feels good as designed, but I think a round butt would make it perfect for me.

Here are a few side-by-side photos with a Hiking Buddy, Arete, and Bushcrafter for size comparison.

I agree! Put a fat HB handle on it and you'd have a mini BC. I'd buy a ton of those. Call it the MBCA - mini BC w/ Arete tip.

I love the aesthetics of the sharp chamfer. It gives it an old timey folder flavor. I love the rounded pommel models too, but it think there's enough of those around.
