How do you like the Monarch so far? I find that mine fills a niche in my collection that I didn't know that I had.

@Phil -- good caveat to your no dupes policy; camp nessies should be always exempt from any such policy ;)

Thanks Phil and Will!

I just opened the monarch today, so I can't say too much about it. I love the blade shape and size. It definitely feels different in the hand than any other model I have. I will try to give an update after we have spent more time together.

Looking for forward to hearing your personal impressions on the handle shape. Mist has weighed in based on his experience, as has Phil and a few other forum members with their comments. I've been considering this model but just haven't come full circle with it yet. Yours is a looker with the pins that disappear into the burl.

Phil, awesome couple of Camp Nessies! But I don't see any dupes. One is all synthetic and the other is all wood. No dupes there. ;)

Tod, love those. :D I fretted over that Monarch in the pics at USAMB. Glad you got it to match the Patch Knife. They look great together!

Took me ages to find the right Monarch, then 2 came along at once! How to choose - 5/32 TT 01 African Blackwood, 3/32 SFT CPM154 Black Ash Burl? Not the worst choice to have to make (if at all)!

The blue Bushfinger is sitting in the knife caddy marked, BladeShow 2015 ... meaning, it's going to the BladeShow 2015 in June.
