Two For Tuesday

You are welcome. You can live on the farm in the mountains :D A beer is $5 in a normal store though... :grumpy:

Fewer in the mountains, but there are always some. Meth isn't the drug of choice in that area though.

The beer is good :D Going to try brewing my own sometime soonish
So you got room for two in your beer brewing mountain resort??

Great, now I'm going to have to succumb to peer pressure and buy one. Instead of moving into Will's basement, I'll come visit you in Norway and visit the land of my fathers.

I jokingly told my wife a friend might have to come live in the basement bedroom for awhile because of over zealous knife purchases... she said "and how many knives to you have?".... In my 44 years, you would think I would know to think before I speek! LOL

Yeah, I doubt there are many places that poison hasn't spread to...

Mist,

I'm in southern Virginia... around the middle of the state, right on the North Carolina boarder. Small town, worst unemployment rate in the US. LOTS of crack and crackheads, but I hear very little of meth. I understand methheads break into homes and businesses more than other drug addicts. I just got an vintage 24" x 24" safe, it's gonna keep my blades from the scary people!

Well now you're talking. I'll start packing.

Yep. My brain normally kicks in about the time of "Hey honey, look at this sweet new ... (ah crap)". To which the response is something along the lines of "and how is this one different that the last knife, or the one before that." And don't even suggest I try the "how many purses..." or "how many shoes...". It doesn't work. :)

Both steal to support their habits, the safe is a good idea, bolt it down good...

One night, a while before we moved, a meth lab near by blew. The concussion was so strong it rattled our windows and pushed the key board up into my fingers as I was writing...

The farm in the mountains isn't used during winter, so make yourselves at home (just bring a chainsaw to keep the firewood stock up ;) ).
We use the cabin higher up (above the tree limit) for recreation in winter, but we live and work in the suburbs in the southern part of the country about 2/3s of the year.

Will be brewing beer at home, might try it on the farm during summer:thumbup:

Mist,

That's scary! With our unemployment rate, I have expected crime to be higher! I just hate locking up the things I enjoy most. You should be able to keep all that stuff out so you can enjoy them all, even the ones you are not currently using!

I agree. I think we should sill do public hangings of adult habitual thieves, then maybe there would be fewer of them...

I dream of this. I hope to make this happen, although it might be in Colorado instead of Norway.

Colorado is nice, especially Golden because of Spyderco :D.

One of the places I'd like to visit. (US part of the family are on the East coast).

Here's my twofer (for now). Need to move these on so I don't have to move to Norway or wherever it is y'all will be huddling. ;)

Nice pair!...and I usually don't say such things to guys, so I'm a little uncomfortable at the moment :) Your Recluse looks to be the same handle as mine. Would love to someday have a Bushboot that actually matches it. Hopefully, once the UPS man runs today, I'll have a new shot for the T for T thread as well :)

Come on out. You can join me on my monthly trips to Spyderco. Great knives and great folk there.

Love the Tuxedo.

NoFair is apparently setting up a compound on his farm in the mountains for those of us FFA (Fiddleback Forge Addicts) that have been rendered homeless by our spalted steel habits.

I don't think Andy will be one of the poor, we are buying his knives. We may have to stay in his cow shed and work for knives.

LMAO, we so need a like button...but then again...then we wouldn't talk as much :)

I have British friends who keep saying I can come stay with them...I keep saying, man that's a looooooong swim :)
