Two For Tuesday

Beautiful pair Capt

Thanks newyork!

Nice pair!...and I usually don't say such things to guys, so I'm a little uncomfortable at the moment :)

You and me both. Awkward...:o

Kidding. There needs to be a "kidding face" emoticon. See Conan interview with Jim Carey about that.

Your Recluse looks to be the same handle as mine. Would love to someday have a Bushboot that actually matches it. Hopefully, once the UPS man runs today, I'll have a new shot for the T for T thread as well :)

Last week a wicked F2. Now another one imminent. Sounds like you might have a problem, Mist. ;)

Love the Tuxedo.

NoFair is apparently setting up a compound on his farm in the mountains for those of us FFA (Fiddleback Forge Addicts) that have been rendered homeless by our spalted steel habits.

Wait until he shows up next summer and finds there's no room for him. :D

Me? Problem? What problem? :D Yeah, I had been wanting and F2 since they first come out, and well...I just couldn't let one of the first two Bushraptors slide by :)

At least they're small knives, I can carry more of them that way :D

Eh, just get creative, make some improvements...add a room or two, and keep the place well looked after, then have him a warm meal and a good beer when he gets there. It should be all good :)

Here's my two for this Tuesday.

Stainless Ladyfinger with extra deep spalting and a cocobolo Bushraptor! I haven't been able to really use the Bushraptor much yet so please excuse the lack of patina. :)

Here's a better view of the handle just to show how incredible this piece of cocobolo is...

Damn, that Bushraptor looks sweet! I love that grind and that handle looks amazing. According to the tracking mine should be here today and I can't wait! I think I'll need to get a wooden handled version later as well :) .

OK Mist and Icy Blue: Inquiring minds want to know (especially mine) - how do those sweet looking Bushraptor's carve?

It just got here this evening, give me a couple of days :) I do love how it feels in hand, and how I expect it to handle from preliminary playing around with it.

Hey Joe! The green burlap is a Bushcrafter. The other is a Bushfinger. Hard to see in the snow. The orange really makes it stand out. Better in the snow than a white linen ;)

I fell asleep forgetting to post here last night. The two Fiddleback tapered tangs used to portion a pork tenderloin last night. The Woodsman and the Raptor :)

WowMist! Sick sets!

Thanks man, the only places the Camp lacked anything at all were in nimbleness in very fine work, and in having a fine point. I just lucked into a matching 3/32 EDK that fixed that problem, and together they are a very capable woods team :)
