Normally I let new users off the hook and chock it up to inexperience but I'm getting kinda tired of the attitude that seems to be infiltrating the forums with new users and this last experience is the straw that broke the camel's back. See sale ad.

After the ad was up for more than an hour or so Paul registered an account with BF and posted "I'll take it" in the ad. After doing so he sends a boat load of questions, which I answered and politely let him know that next time he should ask questions before claiming an item. I took additional pictures and sent back a long winded email back with the pictures explaining more about the knife I had for sale and about how to spot a fake PM2. He had a hiccup in his email program and my email went to his spam folder, apparently at the same time he got my first email again in his inbox and threw a hissy fit when he thought I didn't answer his questions.
Before shipping the knife I gave it another good look over as I always do before shipping knives to make sure I hadn't missed anything, at that time I was able to shave hair off of my arm. Yesterday he received the package and immediately tells me I sent a dull knife that he can't even cut paper with, he said "You sold me a tool that doesn't do what its designed to do". When I explained that I could shave with it before shipping he changed his story to say the edge is rolled and the blade has chips in it. He went on to say that he would describe the knife as being in "excellent condition" as I did in my ad and that the screws have tool marks in them. In the extra pictures I send there were pictures of the hardware, typical rough PM2 hardware, Spyderco leaves marks in their screws from the factory.
It was in the second email that Paul tells me "This is your chance to make it right by adjusting the price". Now his intentions are abundantly clear.
Seller beware.
