TX-Izula, look out for this one

That's where I'm at. This guy didn't have any posts of any kind when this happened. No history to search through. I don't mind selling to new guys, I was new at one time and I'm glad others chose to deal with me. I have just been going at my sales with no conditions, it has finally caught up with me. I learned a lesson and I'll change how I sell moving forward.

Another one on the list... I have no plans to sell again but if I do I am adding that I will not be selling/trading with anybody who does not have at least 5 or so feedback in iTrader.

your comment was about not understanding why people should have to be a paid member in order to use the exchange in any way....... I made comments based on my opinions of that just like you did. It's proven else where that having people purchase specific memberships in order to have purchasing and selling powers is something that makes them atleast think twice about doing shady business.... you will always have your exceptions. My point is that every time I turn around there is a negative thread here on bladeforums. Negative threads are a scarcity in places where memberships are required to have access to buy/sell..... YMMV buts when it's proven to work, and just not your cup of tea.... it doesn't make it wrong.

Do you know how many more sales occur on Bladeforums in comparison to the other forums? There is an increased likelihood of a sale going bad when you have double or triple of the daily sales. Like everyone else said, you can choose where to sell, and who you sell to. I like selling on Bladeforums because the amount of exposure you get, which isn't the same anywhere else.

It doesn't make it right either. Its not the owners cup of tea and as it happens I agree with him. If you don't like it simply don't sell here. There is no reason to change it. Proven to work is relative. Imagine eBay's raging success if it was members only...

Im guessing your not a member on the green forum

How about this asshole left a bad feedback for me?

Talk about a pussy thing to do. If there's still a mod looking at this one, how do I go about getting this overturned?

LMAO!!! That has got to be one of the silliest things I've read in a very long time.

Now, palonej, I gotta say based on the pictures in the sales thread, you cannot see the edge, it's in the shadow part of the picture and it's really hard to see if the edge is perfect or otherwise. You just cannot see it, at least I can't, there is no light showing the edges condition. In any case, pics of the edge not only the primary grind are always a good thing. Especially when dealing with folks that "too new to gauge" personality, attitude, reaction, expectation, etc. Bottom line, it was a knife that was previously owned, sold used (clearly implied by stating the condition as anything other than new), and the price reflects that (IMO). I'd hate to see this turn into an extortion thing or a case of newbie buyers remorse.
It's not a good thing to call people names, given the fact that you assume to know what his intentions were out of the gate, with 2 posts to his name.

Anything I can do about the bad feedback I received?

My God Hal, this guy is something else!
Let a mod know.....maybe Rev since he posted here.
Good luck.
Joe

Go to your iTrader feedback line from this guy. In the middle of the line is a triangle icon. Click it and give the details of the problem. Spark has been clearing up a lot of this stuff.

Also, report it on Tech Support. If he is abusing the system, he can take home a nice fat infraction.

I clicked the triangle, left a short description and a link to this thread for Spark.

I'll also report it on Tech Support, thanks for the help.

Guy is doubling down on being a loser. :thumbdn:

Sorry you have to deal with this junk.

He's not making friends around here, behaving like this. Who does he think he'll find to deal with now?

What a load of crap! I did laugh when I saw his feedback as -1. I have been around a few years and had not see that before.

Yeah. After I did it caught me off guard a little to see a -1. This will be two bad deals in a row, I guess it's just my turn.

Nobody cares. If you like it better elsewhere, move out and draw fire. Otherwise it has nothing to do with this thread. Shit talking how a green forum is run would get your ticket punched pretty quickly elsewhere, so I really don't want to hear about how we're bad bad people.

I really hate dealing with retaliatory feedback on iTrader.

At first glance, this would seem to be a "He said, she said" matter. The problem though, is that I can't take the complaints about the knife's condition at face value. The seller took plenty of pictures. The buyer is making some claims that he's not supporting and some that are disproven. Even worse, for him, is that he registered specifically to buy the knife, then tried to beat the seller up on pricing after receiving it. This smacks of behavior that didn't just spring out of thin air.

I'm deleting both feedbacks, as if the sale didn't happen.

I'm tempted to create a new infraction level for iTrader fuckery because dealing with feedback scores is irritating to me.
