There’s some info about him somewhere. He claims to have a PHD from some university of martial arts in Japan. If you follow up on that the actual institution specifically says they are not an actual university or accredited in teaching martial arts.
Hutton hopes you won’t look that far into things though.

Actually, I met the dude that designed that knife a few years ago at a Blackbelt hall of fame ceremony. At that time those things were a little over 500 bucks a piece. He offered to sell me one and give me a free seminar on how to use it. He claimed it could cut through bone like butter. I wasn’t really into premium knives then but I thought whoever sharpened it did a horrible job on the edge. I didn’t buy one, so no free seminar.

With very little digging he is a well known fraud. There was even a thread making fun of him here and suddenly like 3 new members signed up to defend him. Of course they never posted in another thread ever again.
Coincidence? They are probably too busy being masterfully trained.
For some reason watching fake martial arts “masters” brings incredible joy to me. I really feel bad for their students though.
Oh yeah, it would be a big letdown for the students.

It is made by someone calling themselves RichMade knives. As in he is made Rich, by you buying his dumb knives.
Legend has it his Grandfather was a Master Blechsmith. Here is some of that legendary work.

That finger guard might as well be a hole. And the blade looks like it was originally straight and someone messed with it in photoshopIt is made by someone calling themselves RichMade knives. As in he is made Rich, by you buying his dumb knives.

Ahhhh! I've seen his horrifying work before.
This guy looks like he was drunk while making that knife and put a huge gouge in his piece. “Hmm how can I fix this? I know! It’s BATTLE DAMAGED!” That’s the same philosophy I uses when I was 5 years old and one of my favourite toys was damaged. I made myself feel better by saying “its just battle damaged!”

WTF why? The Spyderco Roc Cleaver folder might be a goofy looking knife (ok, it IS a goofy looking knife), but at least it's usable as a cleaver, albeit a small one. The handle doesn't prevent the edge from chopping (vegetables or whatever) when pressed flat. With this monstrosity the flipper is in the way. This knife really appeals to the lowest common denominator who buy knives (and probably other things) only because of looks rather than any practicality.
