Ugly, Odd, Unique Knife thread!!

I was on meth back then.

At least you have an excuse.
I've got none for this one.

Lol now I see. I kind of like the blade though actually. It reminds me of a raptor's claw for some reason. I still appreiciate seeing any unique knives.

Come to think of it the Max Venom has a pikal knife with a ring on the top for your index finger. Kind of small for what I want.

Balisong #4...

Ankerson not to go off topic but do you know any other knives in that configuration? Like reverse grip edge in with a ring for the index finger? I actually really like that thing it makes me think of an alien's wing.

Whats the story around that Balisong #4?

I was on meth back then.

CM, balisong #4 was on sale on the bay a while ago.
Thought of getting it for nostalgia.
Your knives look WAY more refined now compared to what you use to come up with.

Shameless bump......

Come on people we have barely scratched the surface. Although points to jpm2 for admitting to that monstrosity. Personally I've never liked those stag antler handled knives. In particular the fixed blades where the handle is made from the portion of the antler closest to the skull. The portion with all those little knobs and spikes. Looks like hotspot central to me.

I read abour one of those fixed blades where the handle was made from a deer lower leg and hoof. Anyway eventually the owner noticed the hoof was falling off, it was full of maggots!!

Stop ugly knives, leave those deers alone!

I think it's due to equal parts of more experience, better equipment, and not being loaded.

Damn I have to get one of those Max Venom PKMs. They are so expensive for what you get though!! So Anderson is your alien knife built out of or maybe based on the PKM?

Ok guys here is a company that exclusively makes ugly design abortions of knives. These blades themselves look like they are in the middle of a 17 year meth addiction. Honestly I guess someone out there probably likes these.....it ain't me.

Please look at this site. I want to hear what you guys think. To me these are the knives nightmares are made of.

The second knife in the picture is actually a PKM that I modified on a waterjet.

I owned an original PKM before this one and was required to use it in a legal defensive situation. It was confiscated regardless.

I learned much from the encounter, and modified my second PKM to better suit....ahem...stuff.

This summer I commissioned the 'alien' knife based on these findings.

Are you familiar with the techniques of Craig Douglas?

Perhaps we should take this to Prac-Tac...

I am very familliar with SouthNarc. I just bought my second Pikal folder for hthe exact reason you are talking. I know that if I use my Pikal knife in self defense I will likely confiscated or I might have to get rid of it one way or another.

I would LOVE to chat about this subjct Anderon. I wnill make a new thread in Prac Tac. It will be our spot to discuss this stuff. I'll tell you about the time I needed to defend myself and things got messed up. I am going to name this new thread, "Reverse Edge Blades." I hope to see you there.

Let's keep these ugly knives coming. Did anyone check out Blade Tricks yet? Seeing is believing!!

Ok let's get this thread back on topic boys. I need more ugly knives to make it through the day. There's gotta be more nauseating pieces out there to contribute.

I make lots of Pikal

Nice. Some of thise blades are very sweet. I have seen the colours on a differentially heat treated Bagwell Bowie and they were simmilar to that rainbow effect, except on the blade. Very cool.

Yes Karambits are unique and can be cool. I don't trust then as a defensive weapon. I am sure they can be very deadly in the hands of the right person. Some of the double sided karamnits are pretty deadly looking.

The blade on that buck is pretty ordinary, but everything about that handle is barf worthy.
The shape, combo of materials, and color just don't work together let alone all by themselves.

Is that rainbow camo flipper a zt ? Because it reminds me of everything they make.

No the Rainbow folder is a custom knife by Brian Tighe. I personally think some of those rainbow finishes are abit too fruity for me. They remind me of those cheap fantasy knives from Bud K which rainbow finish. Ugly ugly ugly. It is becoming quite popular what with timascus and moku-ti.
