Ultimate Fighting Busse?

I've pieced answers to this question together from a few older threads, but I'm not sure there has been a thread dedicated to it. What say you? Which is the best Busse for self-defense/knife fighting situation? What is the ultimate non-Busse?
If I had to rely on one all around knife I would very seriously consider a Busse, and they are my main knives for trips into the bush and kayaking. But as a designated fighter I wouldn't choose any Busse as my first choice, with one exception. What makes Busse superb as a chopper and tough knife makes it too slow and without the right geometry for penetration, at least for me. Someone with a stronger arm or a different technique may see it otherwise.
The one exception is the AK, and I would bet any waki or sword made by Busse, but I've only actually used the AK. I am no sword fighting expert, that is for sure, but I do train a little. The AK is a beast and a beauty. The weight feels great, it has wonderful balance, and it's infi! And unlike most swords, you can treat it like a knife and a machete too.
I'd take the AK

That's what I said HJK, it based on a fighting blade first though, lots of ppl on here disagree, but the samurai designed that blade shape for fighting first, its like a bonus that it can be a machete. +1 on the theory that people might still need a knife to fight with if their gun jams. Or like I was saying yesterday, lots of ppl go camping with knives and no guns sometimes. If you run into some yokel out there, wouldn't you rather have something useful than not. I agree HJK. Try to convince Last Visible Canary that the argonne assault, ak, and gladius were designed as fighting knives first, I couldn't do it lol.

My biggest fear when I go camping isn't running into some yokel but running into some bear. Where i go that's either a polar bear or a grizz so, nice though it is, I'm not going to depend on an AK alone, or I'm in alot of trouble.

yeah. I just figured if a bear is coming at you even an ak prob wont save any of us unless you get lucky and stab it in the mouth or some jet li move, I had never seen the hg 55, very cool, what do you think about the PBF 8" or 6" as a fighter? PPL are saying it is too thick at the spine, but the point seems like it would penetrate well and the hook on the back might protect your hand somewhat as a guard, although it is a low profile guard

Jerry did make his own version of a F/S Commando Dagger. Which is cannot be anything other than a fighter, ok maybe a letter opener to.

I own an ST56 and a Tali Whacker and they to me are both fighters. As is the War Boar. Lastly lest we forget the Shiva Rex.

Sorry if these have already been posted I just like the pics.

I think my Tankbuster, Gladius, and Scrapyard Regulator would make good fighters. The TB is strong enough, sharp enough, light enough, and has the skullcrusher. As far as non-Busse(kin) fighters I think my 7" Chris Reeve Green Beret and Spyderco Warrior would excel.

That commando dagger is rad, coolest dagger i have ever seen, those are some great "fighting" knives imo

I think the PBF's were cool but I'm not a Paracord wrap handle guy, I need some textured Micarta or G10 in my hands. HG55 really is the best all around fighter that's carry able IMO.

yeah, i have seen a couple with g10 and micarta handles, I think if they will fit them custom if you send it in, nice avatar, makes me thirsty

Oh yeah you can get the Naked ones customized, I had one done a few years back but I eventually sold it.
