re: Glocks

Ergos suck (for me)
Triggers suck (for me especially)
Aesthetics suck
Functionality rules

Gotta respect 'em, but I can't get past the first three. ;)
It's Ford vs. Chevy. *shrug* I'd rather have Woody's Tacoma. :D

Smart man :D

So.... Someone crashed into my mailbox late last night or early this morning.... The tire tracks leading up to it look more like a 4 wheeler or similar off road vehicle than an actual car/truck... I can see the marks where they came around the corner and then went off the road. The wood "post" (2 2x4s) was broke under ground level. There still some of the post in the ground another foot deep. The wood is still in good condition, not rotted through. And there are scuffs and scratches towards the top of the plastic post. So its not a mailbox baseball victim... Which was my first thought when i seen it laying on the ground.

Accidents happen... But they could of left a note, wrote sorry in the ground, something... Instead of just taking off. Obviously they werent badly hurt since they were able to take off before anyone seen them.

I love my Glock. I carry it every day. I can't say it is the end all be all though.

I can say that there hasn't been a gun I have fired yet that I didn't like.

Jeremy

Pretty much. I have met a few guns I didn't like. Very rare though.

Maybe put the new one on a steel post. lol

I carry a Glock 23. I like it. I wouldn't say I love it. It's OK...
I did a trigger job and put night sights on it. Much better than the stock set up.
It carries pretty well in my Crossbreed holster.
The best thing about it is how easy it is to take apart.

My XD 40 is a better shooter. :D

Happy birthday Jonny

Thanks bro!
Spending the day with family.
Gonna go to a fancy dinner. I'm stoked because they have Lucille on tap.
That Georgetown brewery is pretty good.
It's over by where you work, right?

Then you obviously have not shot the little POS .25 semi-auto I found in a rent house AFTER it had been searched by 3 deputies and a crime scene unit. The constable still on scene after I found it pulled a SGT. Schultz because he didn't want to deal with the paperwork of my having found a weapon on scene after the search. If it just had really bad accuracy it would be better than it is.

Got something accomplished today for a change. Instead of just hanging out on BladeForums, haha. Cleaned out my filthy shed, washed my Jeep, and too her for a spin. Good day.

yess.... I stopped in for a Glock convo. I love glocks. Don't own one, but I've got a couple on my wishlist :D The ergos work really well for me, but Cameron doesn't like em. To each his/her own.

Anyway, I tried making a bowdrill fire, small amount of BK9 content :)

You're supposed to wash Jeeps? TIL!

I had a G26, with a Crimson Trace grip once, but sold it to someone at work. I keep telling myself I'll get a G19 someday, BUT WAIT! The LGS has a (enter any better looking model here) for sale right now! Oooooooo! Aaaaaaaaa! :D Layaway, my old friend.....

Happy Birthday! I got some man glitter for you ;). Be sending it along in an unmarked box.....

Congratz! Me too. Had a dishwasher delivered this morning. Spent a good part of the day removing the old one, finding some parts I needed for the new one and wrestling it into the not square, not level, not standard anything (dishwasher feet sit about 3/4" below the vinyl floor on the original plywood) opening/floor/countertop. Took me an hour to tweak it just so the dam thing wasn't twisted in the opening so the door would shut properly. But it's in (though I still have a trim piece to make for the top where the counter has mo return and there's a big gap) and appears to be functioning - something that the old one was NOT doing. Got to play with my new Fiddleback Bushboot and my Gold Knifeworks (daizee) rigging knife - as well a Spartan Blades Pallas I received a week or so ago. Was a pretty knife day, even if it was frustrating at times.

glock 34 with changed grip angle and beaver tail works better for me, but still not as good as an out of the box steyr or springfield xdm

get the long barrel slide type, and it's a great target gun for "action sports"

too big to carry though, so i don't even pretend to think about it

Swam. Ate food. And did some off roading today.

Curt brought home a new toy. The orange Yamaha 1000. Sitting next to my father's Polaris 1000.

These things are badass!! But cost too much for me. I'll just play in theirs and save up for this 20' boat i have my eyes on.

Good vid Cap'n. Been years since I've done a bow drill. I think the next time I go to the cabin I'll give it a go. Yes, wash your Jeep. ;)

I was going to go for a hike just outside of town tomorrow but it's going to be 100 degrees outside and it's open desert out there with no shade so I think instead I'll accept the Cap's challenge and go try to make a bowdrill.

Yey, back to being a basic member! Ordered a new watch (suunto) and probably buying another one (seiko). RIP money.
