Unofficial CRK Collectors Club

I got my first Sebenza in early '99 from a forum member named Tattoo(Scott) who is still on the forums, and I traded a Microtech fancy MUDT for this small regular Sebenza in BG42. I then took off the beadblast, and put a sterling silver eagle in the pilot hole, and had Gary Graley make a horizontal sheath for it, and still have that knife today. Thereafter acquired a Ziz Zag pattern Umfaan in BG42, and then a Solar Wind in BG42, and that is all I owned til a couple of days ago when I acquired through a trade one of the newer Websites with Hematite stone in S30V, and that is my collection of Benzas.
My wife has a large regular Pheasant Tail which I bought her for her birthday a couple of years ago because she likes fishing.

And that time the hook set. The small regular with double lugs has always been my favorite, and I've been toting it everyday for going on 5 years now.

Downstairs at this moment is a box that came today (I haven't even seen it yet) that has what my wife ordered for me for our 10th wedding anniversary. It is a small annual 2005 with stainless ladder damascus and snakewood inlays, and double lugs of course!

Gonna go check it out now, so I bid you all good eve. :)

My first was a large regular.
I now have
1 unique graphic large reg
1 Bacote large classic
1 large plain regular

My first was a large Classic in the Fall of 2004. I never carried it much, but admired it.

My wife got me a small regular for Christmas in 2004. It immediately became my EDC.

Last year I was all psyched up to get a new wood inlay, but it never happened. I spent most of my knife money last year on slip joints and some vintage and custom shop Buck 110s

Earlier this year, I came back to my senses, and snagged a large regular with a Matt Cucchiara Fizz treatment. Recently, I bought a Shadow IV. Like the Sebbies, the finish on the Shadow IV is amazing -- for example, the tiny facets on the edges of the guard are precisely the same size all around.

I'm still on the lookout for a wood inlay, and I'll probably buy it pre-owned from a forum member. I'd also like a plain large regular to try out as an EDC. I'd also like a Mountaineer.

Just this one trusty flat ground BG-42 large one.

Of course a Spyderco fan, like myself would have a flat ground model.
I have one too, but it's been a safe queen so far.
I've had a few..... 3 maybe 4 Tanto models that came and went. An Umfaan, that I GREATLY regret selling..... And a Buckeye Burl limited (large) that looked suspiciously like Dave H.'s new one. ;)

my first was an ats-34 clipless large sebbie purchased from chris at the international new york knife show i think it was the first year the sebbie was offered, i could be off a year. had to sell it some years later to buy bike for number 2 son,(hard times back then). only recently( about a year ago) rediscovered the sebbie , thanks in part to you guys and this forum. i have aquired 1 large regular,1 small regular, 1 ats-34 large that someone put wing walk tape on ,(good job) and my favorite a large woodie in desert ironwood i think, (bought without box for 350.00 so i didnt care about the box) looking forward to many more aquisitions as they pop up, high.

I only have 3 CRK currently.

I have a Shadow IV, a 7" Green Beret and a Large Lefty Sebenza.

My first Sebenza was a right hander in BG-42 that I picked up at a Gun/Knife Store in San Antonio. The minute I held it I knew it was the knife for me. I later sold it due to some financial needs but I was never without a CRK nor have I ever been without one since.

For those of you who REALLY want to get into the unofficial CRK collector's club, I will unofficially inaugerate myself as the unofficial treasurer. For those of you unofficially interested in unofficially joining, please send $99.99 directly to me.
AND I will unofficially send you an unofficial certificate of unofficial membership on my choice of cocktail napkin!
Isn't that a great deal?

My first Chris Reeves knife was a Project II, which I got sometime back i the mid 90's.....still hve it and it still saves h hair off my arms.

Next up was a large Sbenza bought probably around 1996 or 1997...lost that one along the Colorado River back in 2001..while I was crawling along th brush lookng for a group of "undocumented" folks....when I was still in the Border Patrol. That was a tough loss...I realy liked that knife...

Hello together,

you all are already there, where I would like to be! This week I will receive me very first Sebenza, a small regular.

excuse my bad english, but the language is just a vehicle to transport ideas and thoughts about our nice hobby, greetings

bought a used small that the guy did a custom job on-i love it but that bg42 is a beotch to get a great edge on -at least for me-

-my s30 stuff just takes a few hits on the stone to get back up to snuff-

I currently own more than a "few" Sebenzas plus quite a few other historically significant CRK knives. My first Sebenza was acquired in 2002 when I joined BladeForums and was reexposed to nice knives. My first Sebenza was a BG42 bladed Sebenza, and in a short time frame added more than a dozen to the collection. After adding several iterations of "P" Sebenzas, Unique Graphics, Knife Guild, etc. etc. Limited Editions, Flat Ground, NICAs, etc. I started collecting some of the very early South African CRK one piece knives along with skinners, bird & trout, etc.

2 fixed blades
1 lg tanto
1 lg damascus
1 sm damascus
2 wood inlays 2003 limited LG
1 mnandi
1 sm reg seb
3 lg reg seg ( 1 nib from 1997 still in original box and wrappings )
