Unreal 110 prices on eBay!!!

Unfortunately, I've decided to attempt just that...one of each generation of the basic 110...

And then M/NIB w/box & papers...and sheath...unsharpened...

Well, it's better than spending the money on booze, bimbos, and cards... ;)

Yep,I was just gonna collect119's...but I liked the 532's.... but the 110's are the original.....well,since I'm in this deep,....maybe just some Limited Editions...well I needed a complete 2 line collection ...and that just looked uneven so I'll just............

Mike, I hope you've got the will power..I don't:cool:

Yep...I at least I know that I am one sick pup. I got Buck foleders stashed on the top shelf where my porno collection used to be.

Boy!!! I'm glad I didn't see that:eek:. I think that that is/was a goood deal. Four two pin 110, and a one newer...they look like they're in really good condition. whoever he is got a great deal JMHO. Preston

Yep...that is one lucky buck that got those Bucks.
I wish I'd seen that...
Thanks for making my day Mike ;)

It was really difficult keeping my fingers off the buy now button on that one. Luckily common sense prevailed and I told myself I already had those versions and should lay off. :)

I've been watching Bucks and other knives on EBAY for a few years now. The prices certainly have climbed. Those 532 prices especially. There was just one of the rarest Buck Harley Commemoratives with a bid price of $7,499. When I saw that, I looked it up in Levine's Guide IV and it was Retail $6000 in there! It didn't sell however.

It's good to know there is still some semblance of sanity remaining on Ebay.

Yeah, I was going to bid on that but my re-financing didn't come in on time to meet the auction dead line...:D :D :D

well i have decided it is like the baseball carde bubble of a few years ago... you'al rember that one right? and the Hudge correction and burst bubble? lotof " Investers " got stuck includeing both of my brothers...
i hate to say it but with some knife companes go out and invester/collectors jumping on the cash wagon , well who knows when it will correct ,
NO and NO the shot gun aproch dont work as noted in other piost 334 dave bids on everything 110... no it dont work except on trash and i am two well aqueanted with that "gota" feeling in the gut... trash markets and yards sales are were you will find reasonable or better prices ... some times other collectors on trades !
trades are best as all walk from them feeling well i got 51% of that deal!!!
hi big fish! did not know you were a poster on forum also!
some times i wander>>>if all on the forum stoped bidding what would prices would do  ???
hummm... any commets from the gallrie:confused: ?

Dave,

JMO, I don't think that members of this forum make a measurable difference in the majority of the Bucks sold on the bay. Perhaps, on a few select pieces.

I think that Trax is correct along with others that have said that more people are using the bay for various reasons, you see the same ones bidding on the same things:confused:.

When I have checked on pieces followed to the end...some are the same old bidders(Dave334:eek: ) seldom is it the same bidder winning. Which means that the losers go back and bid on the next item that is similar. I don't think that many are here on this forum, when compared to the number of people out there. I do think that what raises the prices is just the number of people bidding. Would be interesting to find out. Preston

That sounds like one of my comments...except it was "hone$ttom", not 334dave...

I did mention your username as noted in a couple auctions, but not as persistant bidder...but as one of us also bidding...at least that is what I meant...

 ...hone$ttom is only one of a few that are definitely tryin' to corner the market on Bucks...LOL...

Whatabeaut

Are any of these people buddies of mine here on Bladeforums/Buck???

BTW: I've bought a Buck from Arksknives, so I know what he/they do with them... ;)
