Here's a quick rough chop of bladeforums blue...or at least close to it. I like this a lot with the stonewashed blade.

I will very likely be into one of these when it goes around, especially if it's G10 forum blue and stonewash blade. I'm very partial to that combo. Bladesteel the more exotic the better but i'm pretty good with whatever so long as the price reflects it.

I like the idea of a deep pocket clip but not sure how practical, pricewise that is. I'm good eitherway I guess.

And as far as BFC branding, I agree with some discreet stamp, maybe on the clip if that's practical. I'd rather the blade be more or less unmolested and nicely stonewashed :P
 
Very nice Leek freak, I like it! I like that shade of blue darker. Kinda looks like the powder blue stretch sprint
 
I'd be interested in one w/ the blue scales (I like the brighter shade myself but the darker shade displayed above is nice too). An S30V FFG blade is just fine by me. Would like to see the BFC brand incorporated in the product ID (personal preference is for blades w/o writing on them).

I was wondering if that might be what others (including you) were talking about, but figured that that blue was more a vBulletin choice than a BladeForums distinctive.

That's it, absolutely. I can't see how this thing would not be a hit. That is definitely not smurf blue, but a nice dark version.

Well you're probably one of the few to carry weight and solidify us on a consensus. What do you think? From what i've seen at least that blue in the pic and stonewashed blade has been more agreed on than any other options.

What do you think Spark, can we settle on this at least? looks amazing to me and I think it will bring in the most people as well as align with the BFC theme.

oh yeah and you said you had some sort of news.... sounded good. SPILL!
 
Usually don't like Blue, but that does look good. Add a Composite Blade & it would be just right.

Spark, maybe running the color by Thomas he can say if it is possible. Honestly, that is BladeForums Blue to me. It's almost like a blue gray crayon.
 
I really feel this SE Skyline should only change the blade steel, blade finish, handle color and blackened pocket clip.
Colonial Blue looks good to me, the only thing is the blade steel I would like Elmax or CPM-154 in satin or stonewash for the novelty factor. S30V is pretty much common these days IMO.

I think CPM-154 is more common..
 
I'm really partial to ultra-brite blue. After collecting lots of knives I'm tired of black/gray/CF and other muted colors, I love the bright fluorescent colors. Orange is the most popular but yellow and blue are great too.

That said, I'll order one even in a more muted aqua or navy blue as well.
 
i would like one of those. what about a blade like the Nakamura that Kershaw did?
