I am in, and I hope we keep the price point high so that we can have all the options we want.

The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
Toxic green g-10 would be awesome! Would make it pretty unique in my opinion.
he's got it saved in a desktop doc and pastes it in.
Lol that takes dedication right there.
Well then good news, because I already said if you guys can get all 600 presold, I'd be more than happy to take 20% off. That puts it at $88 or so based on the initial estimate Thomas gets me.
If I have to sit on 300 pieces though, you'd better believe I'm not going to discount them. I'd much rather keep the site open, instead of owing Kershaw tens of thousands of dollars for unsold knives.
So, everyone can complain that $110 is too high, or they can help me out when I get final figures and promote the everloving crap out of this, get the knife at a discount, and EVERYONE wins. Which would you rather do?
EDIT: I just quoted your post and are you seriously manually putting in a signature with every post? Seriously?
I am definitely in for one, no matter the outcome of the voting or design. I bought a gold membership to support the site without any intention of selling anything and any profit from this would definitely go towards supporting the site. Besides, in what world do you live where you're getting a small group collaborated knife with upgraded steel, factory manufactured scales in a color they don't normally offer, and a 1 of 600 knife for under a hundred dollars? The fact that the foundation design is that of a budget folder is irrelevant. The skyline was chosen because it's a damn nice folder with broad appeal, not because it was inexpensive.
I don't understand what people want to keep trying to change the foundation/function/form of the Skyline.
We love it because it's a slim, light, low cost EDC blade. Why do people keep wanting to make it fatter and heavier?
We noticed. Let me ask you this, what knife would you prefer be the forum knife if not the sacred Skyline. What knife would it be ok with you to upgrade? Seriously I want to know. What I cannot understand is so much resistance to take such a well liked design and improve the steel and change the handle color. I cannot understand why you are so opposed, no one is twisting your arm. Did you miss this earlier?

I just think colors aren't as special today as things like thicker steel and maybe thicker liners. Those are the things that speak higher quality and "special" to me. Colored G10 is a dime a dozen - but that is not to say I wouldn't prefer something besides black.
