I had one ‘friend’ text me a photo of a package that I sent that was crushed…as a joke but didn’t say it up front until he guessed that I had gasped long enough . Funny but not haha funny
He crushed the box after he removed the contents so nothing was harmed
My therapist says that I am going to be better in a few more months 😇

No he hadn't saved the packaging. Ya got a number to the therapist?
 
Sorry, he’s not taking any more patients, actually I’m his only one…and no one else seems to be able to see him

A merry chase that hasn't ended just yet, traded with a fellow here and while mine arrived to him fairly quickly, his package traveled east, hung around Philly a few days and zipped back west where it's been resting for several days in Phoenix, no news or updates since it's arrival there, hopefully it can catch an eastbound bus pretty soon...

Yes, it certainly is sad, here's an update on it's travels, still no anticipated delivery date yet

Jun 21 5:55 am (which is odd as at one point it said it left at 5:07 as you can see in the above post but now it says 5:55am)

USPS began contrast negotiations yesterday.
I've usually had pretty good luck with USPS, but currently I have 3 packages scattered around the country that haven't moved. From 5 days up to 23 days.

I'm not saying there is a purposeful slow down, but the Senate has recently requested DeJoy explain why the postal service has recently slowed down and he is basically ignoring the request.

Regardless, it may be in everyone's best interest to use other shipping options.

It now says it left Philly, Yesterday, but no clue as to it's next destination, could be heading out to Phoenix again...but the betting boards in Vegas have me at 12 to 1 so...not sure how this will play out!

My wayward package has no further information, which is disconcerting, hopefully by tonight they will sort out where it is...

in the meantime, this package I sent made a LOT of movement within this morning, I found that interesting, but then I am easily amused ;)

The small package made the following moves JUST this morning ;)

Arrived BEDFORD PARK...departed 5:45am

Arrived STEGER...departed 6:42am

Arrived CRETE....departed 6:49am

Arrived BEECHER....departed 7:23am

Arrived PEOTONE....departed 7:55am

Arrived MONEE....Ready for pickup 8:12am

Looks more like a relay race !

One of mine is now further away from me than it was when it first shipped.
I'm in Michigan, it made it to Ohio, but now it's in Kansas, it started out in Missouri...

I had another that actually made it to my local post office before it went to the other side of the country and now it's in California.

It's freaking amazing.
 
That is crazy!!!

But I still like USPS verses UPS or FedEx as you can anticipate when the mail truck arrives where the others have a Wide range of time when it might be delivered like today UPS says that it should be delivered between 9:30am and 8:30pm
and remember that the UPS depot is less than 2 miles from my house
So, keep a lookout for your package

I don’t know about that, I have a very old issue from April 2021 package doesn’t show delivered and the buyer’s letter never arrived, I will check with my post office tomorrow and see if they can start a refund to me on the lost package, I put a claim in but nothing ever came through from it

It's weird how immediately frustrating missing packages become. I just assume it won't ever arrive, that way if it does... it's a pleasant surprise.

I have a little fixed blade coming from that neck of the woods so I figured I’d check the tracking and see how it’s getting along. What an utterly broken system. Back and forth between NY and IL. Just another failed government entity that’s supposed to be self funded, yet despite rising postage costs the service has gotten worse.

I just sent a 64” empty wooden crate from Florida to Pennsylvania yesterday priority USPS to be sent back next week with a 58” flintlock rifle in it. Fingers crossed, we’ll see how this goes. The same crate was used a few years ago for a flintlock from Ohio and all went well that time.
