Priority seems to be pretty reliable. Ground Advantage absolutely sucks. Avoid it all costs. I'm not Amazon delivery time spoiled, and can wait a bit...But Ground Advantage can take two+ weeks, and the longer the parcel is in transit, the greater the chance of loss. I have three traces/searches currently for lost Ground Advantage parcels. I'll pay the extra for Priority.

Package made it back from Phoenix and is sitting in Philadelphia now, it'll be interesting to see if it goes back to Phoenix again!
I did submit a tracking request spelling out what has happened, but no word back from USPS yet, they did say give 3 days time to respond to my request so I didn't expect an immediate answer.

Better news today, it traveled from Philly to Syracuse NY and then up to Rochester NY where it usually means that it will be delivered the following day, fingers crossed that is what will happen

Well tracking showed it in Corning NY which then should slide over to Painted Post NY but it didn't do the slide, BUT, the mail lady just delivered it a few minutes ago. The box was a little worse the wear from all the trips back and forth but it was taped up securely and the items inside were well wrapped with bubble wrap so it ended up fine.
But it was an interesting trip it took, the labeling on the outside on one side was in very very large print of my address, no mistaking where it was suppose to go as was the USPS shipping label also had the correct address. How it bounced around is a mystery.

edit to add that I got both a phone call as well as an email regarding that the package was delivered, nice that they took the time to do that, local post office master called

The empty wooden crate I sent to Pa. Made it in one piece, it’s on its way back, due on Friday. Coming back with a nice flintlock rifle in it. Fingers crossed.

Ever get that DeJa'Vu feeling? I have a package coming from CA again, usually things land in Rochester, but this one...like the last one...made it's way to Philadelphia!!! so, I am concerned that I will see the same scenario play out again
