My prayers go out to you and your family Dave. I can't believe this either. How much more is Dave and his family going to have to go through?!?

I've never met VG but have read many of his post and knowing what he has allready been through hearing this brung tears to my eyes and prayers to God from my heart.
Hang in there VG.
 
Very sad!!! Someone who went out of his way to bring us all such joy and laughter should never have to suffer like this. I just read his last post about his wife and then for this to happen is just flat out horrible. I will say a prayer for him this evening and keep him in my thoughts :grumpy: :(

Very sad indeed!! Oh! Why did it had to happen at such succession. That guy had just gone through a tragedy, still badly hurt from the after effects. How much do a man have to suffer???!!!

Please be strong. Everyone here is behind you.
 
I'm totally bummed. I'll call the hospital but I can't remember his last name. Is it Gittleman? Or something close to it? If you know, please post it. Thanks. :(

I had to look it up in the post about his wife. Before that, I was wondering if a card addressed to "Vampire Gerbil" would get to him at the hospital.

Makes one really angry and helpless to see a fellow forumnite suffer so much in such a short span of time. Argggg!!!!!!! :mad:

Life isn’t fair. I hope VG will make a full recovery. Where does all this bad luck come from? :(

I don't know him--but of course my prayers are with him.

On a more practical note: How much support does he have out there?
Is there anyone who can tell people (like me) what kind of (earthly) support is needed. Who is watching the children? Do they need financial suupport? Are they insured? Is there a way people can help. If you know, please post this kind of information.

Also, please convey to any family memebers-- do you need anyone--doctors or such-- to liase with the medical community. Too often, family members do not know the right kind of questions to ask. Any requests for help should be posted in this thread. I am sure that people will be watching. If you are speaking to any responsible family members and will not violate the family's feelings of privacy, please let people know. Maybe we can help.
 
Will continue to prayer for Dave and his family. He's a strong man. He will pull through.
