W&SS Forum Custom Neck Knife Challenge!!!

Seeing as this in my 4th W&SS challenge I'll let you rookies in on a little secret....

Waiting for the results requires more patience than knife making:p

Just ask Rick or Koyote, they are the only other guys who have been in all four.

Waiting is part of the challenge, really. The more time that it takes, the more we want it. The better it will be. (Generally, anyway) I rather more time is taken if it means that there isn't any errors made in the scoring process. (Although I have no idea how Excel is used, to be honest. Never used it.. never had to.)

Yep!

This period of waiting after the test and before the results is the hardest part
 
Well, considering the knives weren't all sent in until last Thursday, it's only been a week. This will be the fastest test ever.
 
These results will come in at record time for sure.

The wait is a good thing.

A big thanks goes out to the testers for their time and passion.

Below is the timeline from post no. 1. Testing on the 14th, results within two weeks.

We’re trying to keep a tight schedule on all fronts:
1. Additional participants will be accepted until Tuesday Sept. 13, or until we’ve reached at total of 18 participants
2. Knives must be in our possession by Tue. Oct. 11
3. Late entries will traded for blankets in Mexico or given to my family members as birthday gifts
4. Testing will begin on Oct. 14 at the California Fall Bush Bash in Sequoia National Forest: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/sh...-NF-California.
5. Results will be posted whenever we feel like it (probably within two weeks)

Based on the comments from the past testers/reviewers the job is a big undertaking and very time consuming. All the scores, pictures, details of each knife - it 's a lot of information to put all together.

A big thanks from me to all the past and present testers:thumbup:.
 
I am in no rush, Thanks for taking the time to do this when you could have been doing something else on your get together!:thumbup:

I am however excited to see how everyone did!
 
oh, i am not complaining.

I know why this part takes time, and don't want partial results or anything.

but it is still harder that any other stage of a challenge.
 
As a moderator I demand to know!!!
