Waffling! or Help my decide WHICH knife to complete my new resolution with

5 months is a long time. I don't think I could go 5 weeks...unless I gave all my other knives away. So, do you need my address? *wink*

thats why its a resolution
nobody expects me to make it, not even me :D

but i am gonna try like heck :p

ok, its basically the moment of truth here.
so i have made my decision

I will carry my Case Texas Jack for the next 5 months. While its may not be the ONLY knife i carry, it will be my GO TO knife. If i need to cut it, i wont be using the sak i will be using the TJ. I just cant give up the tools (even if i ditched the soldier, i would put a Multi-tool on the belt and lets face it, thats more weight than i want to carry lol).

Wish me luck folks and thanks for all your input and suggestions.

I think i am going to take Carls advice and box up and put the rest of the knives up and away for now. Out of sight out of mind. I think i'll get a chance to get a couple pics for a Day 1 of the experiment pic so we can compare at the end.

Well, I for one did not see that coming. Lol.

Carrying one knife is about looking at your knife as a tool. Don't think about what knife you're carrying, just that you have a knife. It's your only option. After a bit you'll be so attached to the little jack you won't miss the others and it will feel weird not carrying it.

That's it in a nutshell! Iy's not about the knife back home, or the knife in your pocket. It's about the fact that you have a knife on you, so you're good to go in the area. Love the one you're with! After a while, the others don't mean that much anymore, and after a bit, you don't even miss them. But it will feel very weird to go back to the others. The one you have been carrying becomes your own precious!

I agree, no matter what other knife I have on me I don't feel right unless I also have my own precious with me, and usually just go with only my precious if I'm not at work. Even at work I tend to just use my precious the most. Really makes me slow down my purchasing too.
