WALKING DEAD Season 4, Sunday 10-13-13

It was really interesting watching last night and knowing my emotions were being toyed with. That said, the Governor seems to still have plenty of "out of control moments" where he is very dangerous to those around him. Despite his efforts, he doesn't seem to have been able to escape that.

Brian Heriot was a name of a dead man he saw on the side of a barn. Rick is the only one who really knows who he is.

I had to watch that part again, brian heriot wasn't a dead man, the sign was made for brian saing "brian don't go home, we are at the ymca", beside, the old man recognized him as brian, so I think this might be brians brother...

... (I also missed the first five minutes, so... I dunno.)

Started off from the moment the Governor killed everyone except the two other guys. He drove off. We see three tents and a campfire at night. He's sitting guard in front of the fire. Female walker comes towards him. Trips, falls into the fire and crawls towards him. He's just sitting there. As she gets closer, one of the two guys with him just shoots her. Governor doesn't react at all.

Realizing he's finally lost it, the other two leave. Governor wakes up in the morning, comes out of his tent, realizes the other guys left. Took their tents and the truck. Next to him is an abandoned semi. He climbs in, smashes through the gates of Woodbury. He burns it to the ground! Completely emotionless. Then he spends what seems like at least a couple of months if not more, just walking.

Anyone else thinking that the spin off they are talking about is going to be the Governor and crew.

This is super unlikely. In an interview I read with Kirkman, he said that there will be zero connection or character overlap between TWD and the spinoff. They're starting over completely with a whole new cast, story, etc.

Yeah I know! I was really expecting that to happen. But it may happen next week, remember he showed up at the prison alone, unless the rest were hanging back somewhere. I actually really enjoyed the episode, was a nice change, and it showed a different side to a character who has done evil things.

I was thinking that the episode was showing what the Governor went through leading up to the point where he was standing outside of the prison.

The Governor was on the Talking Dead last night and he answered that one. He did not want to be indebted to anyone because he was not planning to stay.

Thanks for letting me know! The Talking Dead is on way passed my bedtime, I go to sleep as soon as it's over.

Since the baddies now have a tank, will Morgan come to the rescue with bazookas? But tanks use at least a gallon a mile, so maybe they won't get it moving.

Not quite. I still think he's at least a few weeks or a month away from looking out at the prison. And when he does so, he's alone. Doesn't bode well for the two women and the little girl relying on his protection.

Martinez' camp. During end credits or trailer for next episode. Probably from when they killed the National Guards.

Gonna be interesting to see how the Governor handles not being able to boss everyone around. I have a feeling it wont last long though.

That's what I meant, although I could have made it clearer :) I think that while all the stuff with the Governor is going on, everything we've seen happen at the prison is going on at the same time. I hope that makes sense :D

Copy that, we are totally on the same page now. :)

maybe it will be like the comic series. they knew how to drive the tank, but couldn't figure out how to load and shoot it....
