WALKING DEAD Season 4, Sunday 10-13-13

Looks like we will get that big shoot out at the prison only a half season late.

OMG I can't wait until next Sunday to see the episode. Though it is the mid season finale, so that will suck eggs :( The seasons are too short and the breaks are too long.

Looks like next Sunday is going to be good !

I hate the fact that the writers got lazy in this episode. Sold out Martinez's character. He knows the Governor is a violent, homicidal, deranged, psychopath. Yet welcomes him into the camp! Seriously?! Come on! That's just lazy writing. Now all of a sudden Martinez is a forgetful and forgiving drunken idiot. Who somehow became leader of the camp??

The writers have been lazy/aweful since the beginning of season 2, IMO. Hate to say it but this show no longer resembles what I loved about the first season, it watches more like a bad soap opera at this point....... :(

Indeed lazy writing with Martinez's character. Him along with Milton, Merle and Shupert know the full extent of the Gov's madness and I don't know about you guys but apocalypse or not, I am not bringing a guy who I know for a fact will bash your head in, decapitated you, keep you severed head in a fish tank, force you to fight your own brother to the death and gun down a dozen of your own people anywhere near my group. In fact, I would have simply dumped more walkers into the hole he was in after he got the little girl out and let them tear the guy apart.

Lazy writing aside, though I'm glad the true Gov's back. I knew the whole "redeemed" Gov wouldn't last. Can't wait to see next weeks ep. Wonder who's gonna bite it and who's gonna get bit.

2,2GB in Four Minutes - gott love my 100$ internet connection :D

ill watch it tomorrow (it seems greys anatomy is on order tonight :()

Lookin' like they're tryin' to get back to the comic book storyline. I expect a whole bunch of pissed off viewers by the end of this season.

I disagree about when it got bad, but am forced to agree about what it has clearly become.

Good episode. Ready to get back to the prison and see whats happening there.

Garth

Nothing is happening there that we haven't already seen. Keep in mind that the Governor's story-line is running parallel to that of the survivors in the prison. Basically, he took a look at Rick and Carl examining the pea-pod. Then he walked a bit and saw Michonne and Hershel chatting. That's it. Next episode he goes back to camp, convinces his new group to launch an attack. Then does so by showing up with a tank. Then we'll likely see a pitched battle where some characters die. End of the mid-season right there.

I am guessing we will not see a battle,it will lead up to the battle and that will be the mid season cliffhanger. Didn't see that coming.

Revised prediction; Carol & Morgan team-up & destroy the tank with bazookas.
It'd be better writing if the zombie numbers were falling to a cannibalistic minimum level, becoming no more a threat than large gruesome mosquitoes, leaving the humans to mainly contend with each other.

AWESOME!
One of the best episodes sense season 1.

Okay, anyone else not surprised that he killed Herschel anyway? Anyone else not surprised that the little girl died? Anyone else not surprised that Bob is still alive? Yeah ... Way too much predictable stuff.

But I was surprised at what the little girls did. And, must admit, that was an awesome battle sequence. Made up for the lame as Hell two previous episodes. Which, when you think about it, were nothing but garbage filler as no one really cared about the Governor or his new group of followers.
