WALKING DEAD Season 4, Sunday 10-13-13

Since we first met lizzie, it was clear of her stance that she didn't understand what the zombies were. She was giving them names and feeding them. And it wasn't just this episode that clearly showed her problems, she started suffocating Judith and killed rabbits for no reason before this episode.
Mental illness cant be dealt with the same way it is in our society. There is no place to send them to "feel" better. You either get with reality or be dealt with the same way a criminal would be. They are just as dangerous if not more.

It was still shocking as Hell when we realize that she brutally stabbed her own sister.

Speaking of kids.... What the Hell happened to the other two who were always hanging around Lizzie and Mika??

I guess we're supposed to assume that they both ran off and got eaten by walkers since they had no weapons, no adult protection, no supplies, etc.

I'd like to think that at least a couple of adults who were long-term Woodbury residents actually survived the raid on the prison, perhaps met up with the other two children, and decided to just not take a chance that Terminus might be another Woodbury. Ruled by another "Governor." So maybe the two other children, the boy and the girl, survived after all.... Just that the Producers decided not to document their survival.

(Honestly, it was just B.S. that every long-term resident of Woodbury whom Rick brought back to the prison; ended up dead!)

Beth is missing, kidnapped. Likely by the guy who stocked the shelves and was living in the funeral home.

Daryl met up with a new group instead of heading on down the railroad tracks.

Rick, Michonne, and Carl are heading down the tracks.

So are Tyreese, Carol, and Judith.

Glenn, Tara, and their 3 new "friends" are headed down the tracks.

Maggie, Bob, and Sasha are.... headed down the tracks.

(Other than Beth and Daryl, looks like everyone is bound to reach Terminus in the last episode of the season, about two weeks from now. Which is really lame! Pretty much all the ones who are left will reach Terminus and.... "See You In Season 5!")

This whole season is heading down the tracks, one tie at a time. I will not be watching next season if they continue the fragmented story telling.

For me the problem with the fragmented story is that I find some of the groups far less interesting. I want to know what happens to Daryl, I dont care about Carl eating pudding. I want to see what happens with Glenn and the new characters but dont really care about Bob and Sasha. I am curious about Terminus but dont think it is gonna be the Mecca that everyone seems to think it will be.

I happened to find Carl's pudding eating highly entertaining! Just kidding :) Next week better show who took Beth and what Daryl is going to do to get her back.

If it is.... That's the end of the series. Who wants to see Farmer Rick again? No one! No one is gonna watch a drama in which everyone lives comfortably for the rest of their days.

They had to do so many takes of that scene, that the young actor playing Carl had to pretty much actually eat the entire giant can of pudding! Not as though they emptied out most of the can into another container so they could use the empty can in that one scene where Michonne stumbles onto it.

Even worse, the snake Daryl kills and then chows down on when Beth say's she needs a drink.... That was an eel. And poor Norman Reedus had to keep chowing down on it, take after take, after....

This season has been more about personal changes and demons, Carl believing he was both a grown up and capable of surviving on his own. the ever popular I know better than my dad and you can't tell me what to do.
Michones belief that she needed no one, but realizing as she walked with the zombies she was moving away from life. and really did need others.
lizzie the crazy who hides it for a while but eventually snaps, forcing carol to reveal her own demons, the killing of tyreeses friends. and ultimately forgiveness.
with Daryl it was that his life sucked but it was the fire that forged him into what he is now, to accept who and what he is.
And for the girl.. I hope its Carl who finds her.... do not real need Daryl being her "knight in shining armor"......

I think Daryl needs it more than Beth does.

I would really like to see if the little boy and the little girl not related to Mika and Lizzie, survived. And if so, how?

Hate seeing characters introduced just to be ignored later on.

I have Some eel in my freezer, its my favorite meat.

Some Snails in the fridge too..

Why couldn't he just eat a snake??

I think the producers wanted to show an ignorant general public that he really ate the "snake."

Cook up snake, it doesn't look like what most folks expect it to look like. Cook up eel.... and it looks like snake in the eyes and minds of folks who have never eaten snake.

^ihave never had it but I very much would like to; a lot of cotton mouths around here and i don't know if there's some special way to clean a poisonous snake, viper, so i just steer clear of the meat.

Plus I don't have much beef with the snakes anyway I like them and don't kill em.

Pity it wasn't set in Florida. Then we could see some zombies eaten by gators & Burmese pythons.
