Walking Dead Season NINE (SPOILERS)

Also remember the wisperers have been doing this awhile. Perhaps the "walker scent" is now fully ingrained in their skin, and they don't really bathe much.
Damn... it’s brave new world, brother... and it stinks :D

That would be cool—you should write for the show.
Lol! I think it is more of wishful thinking on my part. Haha! When the girl was telling Alpha about how they had basic weapons I was just picturing them all getting a false sense of battlefield equality and then showing up with knives at a gun fight. Lol!

Ha! That’s exactly what I was thinking... that’s a season finally twist... Eugene on a special “round-up” and then open fire

The WD folks always did use bullets as if they could grow them next to the lettuce and wheat, so it would not surprise me if they pretty much ran out. No ammo discipline whatsoever. And Eugene could work his reloading gig only so long as the supply of primers lasted.

Meanwhile, while I dig the Beta character, I don't care how hard you are: no one just "walks off" a punctured lung followed by a 3+ story fall down an elevator shaft!

I agree. That’s very frustrating to see, solely for the sake of continuing a story line.

On a related note, how the hell is he the “beta”?

Curious to see if the group of civil war reenactors will become a significant part of the show or if they were just filler material.

Remember they view themselves as a "pack" Alpha is the leader, Beta is her "second"

Beta is the beta because he chooses to not be the Alpha, best I can determine.

See, that’s the only reason that works.

It would be nice to see backstory on that.

Beta has an "interest" in Alpha (I.E. he's into her- I do not know if they were a true romantic couple or not)

SPOILER! He is so devastated upon her demise, he vows revenge at all costs, and never assumes the alpha role, choosing instead to kill as many survivors as possible.

It's called the whisperer war for a reason.

Totally makes sense in terms of bullets—good call. As for Beta, yeah... if it was just the fall, it could be far fetched but, hey, it’s a show... but Daryl definitly punchered his lung. Having had two of those, I don’t see how he carries on without serious tending to.

He jabbed him kind of high, may have been above the lung. Anyone figure out what the dagger was that looked to have a talon hole?

I thought Daryl said, "We'll kill him first." in regards to Beta, then in the very next scene head pokes the guy who just turned a couple hours earlier (and is showing serious aging decomp). Why didn't he just send a bolt into Beta's noggin? It might have prevented the need to battle floor by floor, but if not, it would have been one less human to deal with.

I wonder if they are reusing the BOSC ID that the Alexandria mayor’s son had when Rick first got to Alexandria. (I think it was him).

It looked like a BOSC ID from the side, from what I saw.

I wondered that too. The girl could have pointed him out.

Things were moving pretty fast so I could be wrong but I thought it was a switchblade. Those big blades that Beta was wielding looked very familiar but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

Wait! Alpha's dead already?!

Off topic but bring back Dale he was the moral compass of the show . I miss the RV ! Oh and bring back claimer Joe too the one rick gutted like a fish 4-5 seasons ago.Maybe I need to tune in again missed most of this year, in fact really been only watching oak island this year. And yes I know Dale is dead......but zombie Dale would be very cool he could plead w/the other zombies not to bite so hard...it might work??...I mean it could right? Ok 24 hrs w/o sleep is showing I am off to bed
