Walking Dead Season NINE (SPOILERS)

I lost a ton of interest since they decided to post these episodes as "Rick's last episodes". Would have enjoyed it more had they just made it a surprise in the show. Still love the show.....and comics, but it has gone downhill a bit.

I cant see AMC letting that kind of info leak. I think its a troll. Morgan and his crew just found a compound with the intent to start a new community in FTWD. I can't help but wonder if the big hubbub is just going to end up being Rick crossing over for a season or two. Rick and crew are starting to grind on each other but he and Morgan are more on the same page.

I have a feeling that the show has lost enough interest and with Rick going, they will combine the two shows. As good as they are, Carol and Daryl can't carry the show, and the folks at FTWD are new enough to add fresh blood to the show.
 
I am thinking they may bring the 2 shows back together. The new people in FTWD are more interesting than in TWD. Honestly I am a little sick of Rick and I may loose interest all together if they bring back Negan for any more than an episode or two. Sadly it looks like they are setting it up for a savior uprising.
 
I think Daryl could carry the show and the show would be better because of it because he wouldn't be all about setting up a peachy life in the suburbs.
 
As far as Negan goes, I dig his character. I wouldn't mind a season based on the "Here's Negan" storyline.

I hate it when comic spoilers show up in these threads. I don't want to know the storyline ahead of the show. I've read the comics up to #116 and I stopped there so as not to ruin any part of the show for me.

The comic is not a for sure thing. Seems like they are taking turns the comic is not.

Definitely, but some of it is spot on. Glenn's death for example was one where comic spoilers ruined a major point in the show for me. I like being surprised by the show instead of wondering if they are going to stick to the story line.

It is almost hard to be a fan and not run into comic spoilers. Last year I had google searched images of Negan for a Halloween costume and sure enough, one of the first images was comic clip of Rick slashing Negan's throat. My wife heard the "DAMMIT!!!!" from three rooms away. Lol!

Really interested to see why that group of Saviors didn’t make it back this Sunday, if it’s because of who I think then this season just got a whole lot better
 
I really don't mind spoilers. More interested in seeing how they get there.
Wish someone told me that the new Jurassic World was just about a big haunted house with lizards running around before I wasted 6 bucks renting it.

I went back and cleaned mine uo too. Hey littlehoot, I stopped reading the comic at the start of All Out War and was thinking it might be about time to read up to the point where they catch Negan. Off the top of your head can you remember if there are any major deaths or events in that part of the comic that have not yet been covered by the show and would warrant waiting a while longer?
