I have had this one for a few days now and it is awesome! The fit and finish is exquisite to say the least. I will admit that the pull on it is as reported up there. But I have been working on it and has come down a little bit. It is my first of Charlie's knives and couldn't be happier with my choice of the Autumn Gold.

Excellent photos! I am really liking the Autumn Gold AND the stag. I am very happy with my cocobolo knife. However, I just might have to "collect" these other two!!

Thank you Curtis! The cocobolo looks great too. I would love to "collect" the others as well. One of these days I will.

Man I wish I was able to get on these. I didn't see the early reserves pop on Mike's site until it was too late. I guess one of the downsides of college is that I actually need to focus on work and away from my hobbies :( . That polished stag you have blee is a grail for me. Long pull with swedge, creamy rich covers, clean looking bolsters.....perhaps one day I'll get one if money and luck permits.

Thanks, Thieves and Bladenoobie1. The stag does vary a lot, and my vendor was great in getting me a light one as I requested.

Now that I've had this knife a couple days I'm even more impressed with it. For me it is the perfect size, easy to pocket and large enough for tasks around the house and yard. So far my favorite GEC, will be hard to top this one.

I was able to get slightly better pictures to show the colors of this beautiful knife. The longer I have this one the more it's grown on me. She's definitely a winner in my book.

My pair arrived today. I'm completely taken with them. I don't think I've seen any photos of a stag model as dark as this one (it looks much darker in person than in the photo). I like it. :)

Beautiful knives, Dan. I was real happy to hear that you had gotten things figured out and got to get some of these and the barlows. On that stag, is it smooth where all the dark is or is that textured? It looks like it'd be textured, but I wasn't sure if they filled that with something or if it just looks textured in the pictures or what.
