Washington Street!!

This beauty arrived yesterday! Charlie this is one FINE knife! Nice thin construction, great walk and talk, and gorgeous bone, this one matches the quality of anything the premium old cutleries produced:

That is just stunning! I wish I wasn't late to the party. Hopefully one pops up on the exchange. I got lucky last night and scored a TC Barlow, this is my next grail traditional.

My pair of Washington Jacks arrived, Ebony and not quite Ivory :). Yet another home run from Charlie and GEC.

That polished stag looks fantastic!! They all do but the bone & stag versions are my favorite. :)

P&g, that stag of yours has got some REAL character, hope mine comes in just as handsome!

And even though I'm not that much of an ebony guy, it suits this dressy knife just beautifully.

There's real complexity to that polished stag: aspects of 'tooth' walrus or mammoth. The slanted scales enhance this. Breathtaking.

Thanks, Will

This showed up today. What a knife! One of the best from GEC I think. Lovely cocobolo wood, perfectly inlaid shield, blades dead center, and a very nice 5 pull that will make it perfect to carry and use. Blades are solid without any play and are sharp right out of the tube.

Will try for better pics later when I have more time.

Perhaps if we yell it, somebody will finally abide by it.
The forum is not a store. It is about knives, not where to buy them or how much they cost.

Pricing information doesn't belong in this forum.
If I keep saying it I'm hoping at some point it'll get remembered.

If this does not work, perhaps infractions will.

Eric, I, and I am sure the makers at GEC, are honored that you approve!

For those who are new here, Eric is a professional and talented cutler, from a different company! I do not take his compliments lightly!!

Thats Great to receive such a high compliment from such likes as Eric Charlie, thats yet another feather in your cap my friend.

My 4 yo little girl said my Washington jack was "pretty" in her objective praise, it cut stems of wildflowers, and sharpened a stick for campfire dogs and smores on our hike in the woodlands today, it's a user. And, declared it "hers" when she is older.

A woman of refined taste, indeed.

That honey gold bone Washington Jack is definitely the one from this run - though the blood red is slick too. I'm getting an extra 77 Medium Barlow just in the hope of trading for one since I missed out. Not likely, I know, given that anyone who has one AND wants the barlow is probably already on the list. Either way I figure I've got two great knives.
