Watches and Hinderers

Thanks man. My wife bought me a 96D104 Bulova for our first anniversary, and it was my first nicer watch. I wanted to wear it a lot, but was in fear of scratching it. Then one day I ran across one on the gadgets exchange for a steal, and bam. Perfect "user watch" that I can wear to work! I work at a major ammunition factory, and am constantly bumping things and whatnot. It's slim and just perfect for me for EDC!

Major ammo factory huh, well hello my new friend.

Wrong area to post, but has anyone seen that G2 RIP bullet? If not google it, nasty stuff, Good for home defense and the good guys, but in the hands of the wrong person not so good.

It is garbage.

Picked up a beater, and I have to say, am rather impressed with fit and finish of such an inexpensive watch! I might have to add a few of these Hamiltons to the stable. The blasted finish on the watch matches the blasted on the XM pretty well...might have to get the watch anodized!

Hey watchknut nice, here's mine.

Don't want to hijack this thread or start another RDA, but I thought the video was goofy. Do you know if they actually went into production and have OTC sales? That bullet reminds me of the accelerator that came out awhile ago, but without the bullet on the inside.

very nice! I am very impressed with these Hamiltons. I took my 1665 off a couple of days ago, and have not put it back on! Seeing that I could buy 50 Hamiltons for the price of one of my vintage Rolex...it makes sense!

Yep, sorry about that, we can go offline but yes, they have been produced and gotten into third-party hands. There are some enlightening videos and blogs written about them, for one example go search on youtube for one titled "G2 RIP R.I.P. 9mm Radically Invasive Projectile tested in ballistic gel test review"

Would someone please just go sell me their old, ugly translucent scale that they most undoubtedly hate?!? Man, my wharnie is calling for one after seeing Rubi's pics...

Sorry to answer questions and keep this thread "hijacked" for a moment, but yes. Olin. They moved the Winchester plant from East Alton, IL down to Oxford, MS. I grew up around the Alton area (just north of St. Louis across the Miss. River), and several years after they moved the plant down here my wife and I moved down here for work. I didn't work back home, but my father did/does currently and has for 40 years. It's pretty nice down here! This is definitely gun and knife country compared to IL.....

Nothing wrong with Oxpatch! Went to Ole Miss for grad school and it was an amazing time to say the least. I had no idea Olin moved down there...

Yup. Moved all the pistol line and in the process of moving rifle. About half of the rifle line is down here now, with shotshell and brass still in IL.

That's crazy though! I was messaging someone else the other day who is a frequent RHK sub-forum visitor, and he said he's been through Oxford and stopped to eat once. Small world!
