I enjoy things that do what they do - well. If that comes with a premium, Fine. A deed and a mortgage to tell when my bus is coming..... No Thanks.
(I know, IF you are spending 3/4 of a million $$ on a watch chances are you aren't timing Bus arrivals but you get what I mean)
I couldn't resist, my Son's Birthday is this weekend and supposedly he wants a "Nice Watch" so...... I Googled that.
I won't post the link But, I get a $779,000.00 watch pop up -
I can't decide what color![]()
jeezus there are some whacko people out there.
Nice pair Andy. That sterile spanto is really nice and clean looking.
Are you sending back to Rolex or using and independent for service? The reason that I ask is that Rolex will rape you on the service and sometimes make you get a new dial, hands, bezel insert, crystal, etc. If you are happy with the watch, but it is not keeping good time, I would recommend finding an independent watchmaker and have them service it for you. You will save a bundle, and they will replace the casetube and necessary gaskets, clean, polish and time...good as new. Usually their turnaround time is a couple of weeks.
If you are looking for another watch, I would see what is on Craigslist locally...never know what you will find.
